No, she's like every female Tory who has made it to somewhat high office - she's never been able to shed sounding like she was the head girl at school where she used to boss everyone around. Maybe that hectoring harpy act goes over better over there, where you still have fond memories of Mrs T, but she makes me shudder a bit. Time will tell whether she is really the compassionate type she claims to be or (more likely) she turns out to be Jeffrey Dahmer in drag. Handbagging Corbyn is no great achievement, as it's the equivalent of shooting a sitting bird, so I'm surprised PETA hasn't got involved.

I heard an old show this week where Art said, when speaking with a guest about dinosaur extinctions, TRY-rannosaurus rex, not once, but several times, and he's not an airhead.  The first time I thought maybe I heard him wrong, and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but 3 or 4 times in a show. C'mon Art.

That's Bell Gab's own themudking and jaz. They used to do an Art Bell podcast about classic Art Bell shows but that ended. There is a thread about their shows in the Podcast and Talk Show section of this site. They have a new show starting tomorrow night with some other bellgrabbers. I'm on my phone so hard to link.

I don't see what, in this, counters what I've said.  He placated groups.  We(Royal 'we') knew that.

I give you a link to a fairly lengthy New York Times article from the early eighties - one published before the Left got the bright idea of pinning the homeless problem on 'Reagan' - which details pretty much how the disaster came about and who was responsible for it, and another link to the ACLU's own website where they brag about their role in getting the mentally out of institutions, and your response is a one sentence piece of crap from some rewriter of history.

This is remarkable for it's lack of detail, perhaps you could explain how much time you think a president has to spend on figuring out ways to deny people treatment and why one would do so, what 'special interest groups' are interested in creating a large homeless population, and how any of that 'meets the demands of the business community'?

That's the funny thing about the political left. Even though they've killed millions of people with their ideas, i.e. Lenin, Stalin, the Khmer Rouge, etc. they still haven't figured out that their ideas eventually require that the opposition be killed. This is true even today, to 'fix' climate change it will eventually require depopulation. There is no way around that. But they don't see it. The lack of free thought on the left is the single most scary thing I see in the world today. It isn't even a coherent set of ideas anymore, they champion secularism and Islam at the same time for god's sake. It's amazing.
