Isn't that most of the idea of MITD?  The show exists to provide fodder for such specul'n.  Why would we suddenly turn it off just because our fearless leader is the subject?  Imagine Art interviewing himself on the subject.
JFC buddy, WINNER!

Awesome:  “And for those who will probably never listen to the show, and feel a pang of humiliation for signing up, we now offer Club C6H8O7.
Dehydrogulonic acid?  As when the ascorbic acid in lemon juice is allowed to oxidize?

Yup, you all are right, I have always told you what is going on in my life as it happens. Yes it was my Wife who finally had enough because of my Daughter's bad reaction. The show is sure my love but not ahead of my Family. We are just hoping nothing else happens for some period of time. If so I may poke my head up if Heather keeps things going. If this continues I may have to move, not something I look forward to at my age. I have asked the Sheriff to post the last two Police reports but I doubt that will happen till Monday at least.

As for now we are hoping for peace.

Redacted is one of our very best. There is hope.  :)

It would be wonderful if the one place Hoagie hates winds up saving the network....

I think it may be time to let go...it's OVER.

According to Art, Airyn said quit or else and Art did...end of story.

All the other speculation and options are a mute point now.

*moot point.   ;)

I took that as an oblique call for silence on the topic.

I'm not saying goodbye. After multiple times this has happened I just don't care anymore. All the drama over the years has tapped my sympathy for Art. He gets our hopes up for a comeback by throwing us a cryptic bone every few months. And when he finally does come back, he pulls the rug out from under the faithful again. It's a pattern. Maybe with Art the pursuit of a goal is more satisfying than actually achieving and maintaining it. If he comes back, I'll listen. But I'm not fretting about it.

+1

Bryan Alvarez show just started on DMDN and is about to talk about Art

Ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

Somebody recently suggested the show name "Redacted."  Gotta say, that's a great name for a show that covers ufos, cover-ups and conspiracies  8)

I've never been one to hang around the scene of an accident and discuss the sad and sordid details...So while MITD sorts itself out I thought I'd search for some well-produced radio dramas and stories with a Paranormal/Science Fiction emphasis.  I've started a thread under Other Talk Shows.  Feel free to add programs of interest to the list.

Yes, but SFAuthor just doesn't have the same pizzazz.
I see your point  :). Should never second guess  the creative choices of a published (SciFi) author

Wrestling/MMA he's great. He has a weekday radio show now and a bunch of podcasts. So I have some deep rose colored glasses for his paranormal show. Since it's always been a hobby show and an ode to Art, I like it. He has a skeptical approach but gives everyone their due, like Art did.

He didn't have much to say about Art, just read through the posts we've all read and read Keith's state of the network address. His show will no longer be live, due to the changes Keith had to make with DMDN. Sucks because his 30 minutes of open lines to start the show was usually more entertaining than interviews about bigfoot.

Alternative to Dave.... Everything Else! Music, George Knapp, Meditation, Silence, a Hobby, Sex, Masturbation...etc
In that order? Sequentially or concurrently?

Just a thought, if Heather does well and I am sure she will and if things are quite here for some time I may do a unannounced fill in once in a while. The biggest problem I had was the exact routine I had to follow with this stalking jerk. We are watching every car on our street and there have been a few. Living life like this is less fun.

Just tuned in, never heard of him before.  I must say his voice is just about a dead ringer for David Cross.  I can't stop thinking that's who I'm listening to.

I never thought I'd say this, but I just subscribed to The Other Side of Midnight too.  I guess when the ship is taking water, sometimes a man just has to roll down his trousers and plug the gaping hull breach with what's left of his pride.
I just cannot bring myself to 're-subscribe to that mess. Besides given what RCH himself said Friday it seems he is more an anchor than an asset. My interpretation anyway
