Agreed. Focus on the 'radio' show and guest- not on "big events", videos, internet 'tv' shows, or becoming cosy with stalker/fans and other marketing gimmicks to make up for a bad show; as someone else is doing.

Since you are the only talk show host that can still hit the post, if you could go back in time and be a DJ for any Top 40 radio station in the country, which would have been?  (I'm thinking the AM rockers from the 60s and 70s)

And, do you have any airchecks from when you were a DJ?  Always wanted to hear that. Figured I'd ask

If you don't mind answering Art, what type of microphone do you use for broadcasting? Is it the Heil Sound PR-40? Some site out there is claiming that's your favorite microphone.

I think he already answered somewhere before that he uses the Heil only for ham radio only. Not sure what the broadcast mic was. The mic I use is the RCA 74B Jr Velocity Ribbon from the 30's-40's http://www.coutant.org/rca74b/. Nice piece of kit.
