I think Orleans' "Dance with Me" is the most often played grocery store song from that era.  I still hear it when I'm out shopping.

"Still the One" being it's close cousin. It's the type of music that's "safe for the workplace" ::)

perhaps you should wait and see how art approaches it.  you might be pleased.  we won't know until the show starts.
yes exactly, thats what I plan to do by starting the 30day Sirius internet only free trial on Sep 16 and give Art 30days to prove his new show is as good or better as in the classic mid 1990s...

Tonight is the Live Chat with Linda Moulton Howe
Coast Insiders, don't miss our Live Chat with investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe, tonight at 8p PT/11p ET.

Someone with a coast insider subscription should try to ask Linda during the live chat tonight if she will be a regular guest on Art's new Sirius show, like she used to be every weekend on Art's Dreamland back in the 90s...

I was on my way to work this morning, a beautiful, brisk, sunny morning when suddenly, "Into the Night" started floating through my mind...I managed to shake it off and continue on to my job.

This afternoon, while I was standing at the copier, mindlessly copying some copies, I caught myself softly singing "Dance With Me"....I made it through the rest of the work day without further incident.

Now I'm sitting here, at my computer, minding my own business...."STILL THE ONE" IS PLAYING IN STEREO IN MY HEAD...

I'm going to take a shower now.

I blame you both, Eddie and Retro!!!  Grrrrrrrr   ;)

Nope, I think she was purdy too. I also liked peepin' at former weekend host Barbara Simpson. She reminds me of high school teacher I lusted after.

If I knew she looked like that I probably would not have hated her so much. Grandma voice outa that, who would have thunk?

You could try to get a shout out for prayers from Dave Noorie tonight.  :-)

I've missed Roy, and it's good to see him back again.  'A Black & White Night' is one of my favorite televised performances ever.  Including Tom Waits in that cast of all-stars was brilliant, though it's hard for ol' Tom to do much wrong in my eyes.   Speaking of Art Bell, Tom Waits would make a helluva guest on Art's new show.

Hahaha.... let's save the prayers for poor Goatsy.  ;)  Roy is glad to be back and even more glad to see "It's Not Over."  Art will be back soon to take us all "Into that Black and White Night."  :)

Art's making Hoagland ride the Sybian. It could be compelling.

Sounds like a crossover show with Howard Stern.

Linda Howe definitely was a major babe.
Back in 1963 she was a contestant in the Miss America pageant as Miss Idaho:

Did anyone here get to ask Linda Howe a question in the live chat earlier tonight?
Will she be a regular guest with Art Bell on his new show?

       In 1963,1973,1983,1993...ABSOLUTELY.

In 2013. Not so much. It will sound like an emery board being scraped. Things dry up.
