One confrontational caller actually got thru the screeners near the end of the show calling for guest Richard Hoagland.
He tried to attack Richard's claims about the recent comet and Richard kept denying the quotes the caller made from previous interviews.

The caller was wrong because 'he didn't speak the language of mathematics', according to RCH.

Of course, even if you are able to speak the language of mathematics, you still don't know what the hell this guy is talking about.

edit: I think you were referring to a different caller than I'm thinking of, but he did pull that one out on a guy earlier.

I once sent George an email, something about Richard C having an even bigger unwarranted ego than George himself, and wondering why none of his nonsense is ever challenged, why George doesn't ever ask him about previous interviews and the things he's said that didn't turn out to be true.  Richard C with his ego, his own made up pet theories, his distain for others, his paranoia and his ass-breath, is just George Noory with speaking skills.

George doesn't care, he just wants to cash checks and fill 4 hours of airtime - how that is done just really does not matter.

This is the standard George Noory episode of C2C. First you get your daily dose of fear and panick, then onto a crazy new-age guy who talks about stuff that can't be proved wrong and has got something to sell you.

     Good guy, but Geoffrey Simmons was asked twice whether water expires and both times he rambled on about expiration dates, and keeping it in a cool place, and using little bottles, and rotating your supply, and blah blah blah.  Memo to everybody:  it water.  It doesn't expire.  If your dying of thirst and you come across a trove of bottled water 1,000 years old, have at it.  All these "end of the world/survival preparedness" shows have not gotten me to seriously think about it as much as one little movie I saw about two months ago called, The Road.  There hasn't been a day gone buy when something in that flick doesn't cross my mind, or cause me to appreciate a simple stroll down a well stocked grocery isle.  I've since read the book by Cormac McCarthy.  Good stuff.  Here's a short exchange between Jonas Elrod and George:

    George: "These ghost, these spirits, lets start talking about what happened to you."
    Elrod:  "O.K..."
    George: "...O.K.  Go ahead."

To all forum viewers,

I have two different issues to address.

1st:  After joining, I have spent time looking over this website.  You all seem to have one thing in common. . .You do not like the present state of C2C.  Mostly, you all seem to hate the hosts and how they conduct the shows business.  I read this all the time, "Art Bell is the greatest ever. . . George sucks...  Ian sucks..."  Almost everyone on this site has something bad to say about C2C. (Not everyone. Most everyone.)

But despite that, it seems everyone keeps listening to the program.  Your days seem to be filled with how much you dislike the radio show and everything about it. You all pat yourselves on the back regarding how witty and insulting you can be.  Sorry, that side of the website I can live without.  I do not think it adds anything to my life. I do like open opinions and mindedness. (is that even a word, mindedness?  Sounds like something George would have said. You all seem to think he says the darnest things.)     

I will agree that Art Bell was good in his day.  But he has chosen to leave C2C and live the good life outside of the USA.  Why?  I have listened to many of his past programs and I do think he was a better host than George.  But come on people. . .lets move on.  Bell left the show years ago.  Art also had his own problems and quirks.  (Which were quite strange in themselves)   Far different from George's quirks.  All I am trying to say is all people are different. George will never be Art.  Art will never be Ian. . .That's it.  Lets get over it.

2nd: My last rant (it is tied to the first rant, in an abscure way). . .  I think many of you know this, but you need to hear it again.   
C2C is only a "product".  A product of money making, money loving con artist that will sell you anything.  They have George as the host because he will do anything they ask.  George is a "go along boy".
Art was not.

Most, (if not all) of these guests that are on the show are only selling their own crap and issues.  Crap and issues that they can then sell to the people that listen to the program.  Their crap & issues, (books & ideas) are all "widget's".  (widget: A self created item of minimal use.)
In marketing, the best way to sell something is to create, (make up) a demand for the product you want to sell.  Even if that demand was never there before.  All you have to do is make something up so that people will think they need it.   That type of capitalism has been going on far to long.  I love free enterprize.  I love new ideas.  I love the good ol'USA.  But, We the people are beginning to find it hard to believe anything we are told any more.   We are mislead into thinking the "crap & issues" we are told, should be important to us.  Only to find out later it was only important because someone has a new book to sell. 

One of the only reasons I listen to C2C, is because I find it fascinating that people will "buy" into just about anything they are told.  The entire program, from its commercials to many of it's guests,  are nothing but Money loving, Money grubbing twisters of the truth.  They will say and do anything to make money.  These lovers of money have turned the people of this country into mindless cattle.  I for one do not like what they have done.  You can still make money in this country by not lying to everyone.

You miss the point, my friend.  For me, it's great fun to belittle Noory at every opportunity because he clearly thinks so highly of himself and so little of the audience.  I hardly ever listen to the show because it sucks so bad.  I tune in here and there or stream a few minutes from time to time.  It never ceases to amaze me that, no matter when I actually do listen and for how short a time, Noory usually says something ridiculous, screws up or mispronounces fairly simple words, or makes some other gaff.  There is no way that clown should be on the radio.  Anyway, I think you said that you were not a listener in the AB years, so I'm not sure you have a real grasp of just how badly Noory has screwed up the franchise.  It was a great show, now it sucks ass.  That should not be forgotten.

I loved when AB was on C2C, but no, he was not perfect.  I "dislike" Norry to a great degree, tolerate Ian, and enjoy George Knapp.  I'm probably par for the course for Coastgab.  I'm not living in the past.  I've said before that if AB came back, it would be like a Beatles reunion in 1979, great, but not the same as they were in the 60's. 

I rarely listen to C2C when Norry is on, but it's fun to read other's comments on him.  I listen to a lot of talk radio and no one has such a dearth of professionalism. 

What I really like on Coastgab is when us "old-timers" reminisce about great AB C2C shows and guests.

George Noory has deliberately ruined a lot of peoples favorite radio show.  And in a way that makes ridicule and sarcasm easy.  Parodies and satire write themselves.

George's Suckage should be exposed and documented - it's cathartic and fun to commiserate.  Hopefully, the thousands and thousands of current and past web pages commenting on George have been unpleasant for him.

One of the comments I have repeatedly posted here is "out of all the talent out there, they no only picked someone without talent, but they picked someone who can barely utter a sentence without slurring: George Noory."

It's no great feat to be a shitty host or to be in the entertainment industry and be terrible.  But George Noory sucks so badly at his job that he's really at the bottom by himself.

Added to that is he took over a great show and ruinied it.  It's not like he's some ramdom sucktard that at least built something a few idiots like.

Then there is his lack of interest in the world around him, his laziness and complete lack of show prep, his narcissistic personality, his refusal to attempt improvement, his personal appearance, the way he takes advantage of the people on the edge of sanity - the way he treats them when they call in, and his glee in scaring them into buying the sponsors products... yes, George is quite the character study.

noory suggested the evil apparation in the mirror the caller claimed to be seeing wasn't really the ghost of his departed dad, but an evil demon masquerading as him.
Joshua Warren isn't an evil spirit expert, so that was an odd choice to help.
I would have thought he would recommend Evelyn Paglini or the ghost whisperer gal...

If I heard correctly George said that Joshua Warren was an expert in "Mirrors" - So he was making up the evil demon in the mirror nonsense and telling him that he was referring him to a 'mirror expert'. Poor psychotic kid (he had been seeing these hallucinations since his dad died) calls George for help? And the screener can't figure out that he is a head case? Maybe he'll get sued for practicing psychiatry without a license...
