I read something that brought it all back for me.
In a collection of horror stories called "Dark Homages," by H. R. Arswyd there is a story called "The Call-in of Cthulhu." 
Obviously the author is "one of us."  I won't give the story away because it is way too good to ruin, but, if you are a devotee of H. P. Lovecraft, imagine
what would happen if a Whateley called in to Noory's show...yeah...
I seriously recommend it.
