I didn`t know you were such a Bigfoot fan.My friend has an uncle that lives on land that abuts the Angelina National  Forest who swears that he has heard a bigfoot lowing in the middle of the night. He hikes (during the daytime,of course) and collects what he thinks is Bigfoot "scat" proudly labelling each sample with location and date found. To date he has 17 such samples he keeps in his freezer. My friends family won`t eat there anymore. GNS

Yep, I'm a Bigfoot groupie. I like to think they're shapeshifters, and what could be more mysterious than that?

As for your friend's uncle, I think the boys with the butterfly nets should be told where to look for him:P

Bigfoot stories sure make camping more interesting.

I listened to Clyde Lewis last night. He had a live cam fixated on a 'haunted' clown doll. Of course the clown moved (set up perfectly, or a demon within?? You be the judge) ...either way, it was one of the single best radio shows I have heard in a long, long time.

...then I switched over to George afterwards because I could not sleep. I slept easy after a few minutes.
George messes up practically every sentence now, doesn't he? He can't utter a single thing without a cue card.. he has become a sad, sad host. Even compared to how he once sounded in the early 2000s, he just seems to have thrown in the towel.

And then Tommy asked if the government knows what he watches on TV. George said they do. And then Tommy said, "oooh, scary."

This is encouraging.  A Canadian host this weekend and at least one Canadian guest.  Perhaps Coast to Coast AM will move its home base permanently to Toronto and become Canada's embarrassment instead of a US embarrassment.

That would be an even trade, I think.  They gave us Justin Bieber, we give them Coast to Coast AM.

I was listening/watching as well. I saw the doll move at 9:43. Don't know if it was faked or what, but it was fun nonetheless.

Ugh, Noory just on the air threatened again saying he will be hosting the show for a "LONG, LONG, LONG" time to come... :P

yeah they are finding some really old c2c shows now, never replayed before.
back then in 1994, most of Art's c2c shows were not paranormal since he did that on Sunday nights for his separate Dreamland program back then.
Art gradually started sneaking in more of the paranormal guests/topics during the week during the mid 1990s.

I've been listening to my old recordings of SIT and to hear Art comment and expound on President Clinton's actions or comments is more interesting than what Snooby has to say today.

I have to say that I don't listen to the weeknight 'host' of C2C on an extended basis.  Though I often tune in to opening of the farce, I find hearing Nooby struggling to read copy in front of him is annoying.

Could it be he only needs new reading glasses?  Probably not, as he proceeds into the show making inane interjections when a guest is speaking.  At that point, even though I was listening to an interesting guest, my dial would've been turned away to another station.

Noory claims a number of stations that carry 'his' show.  Do those numbers include repeater stations??

Most Ivory soap guests (99.44%) hadn't challenged Snooby on an inane comment he said.  There was one guest, can't recall who, tha asked if he (Noory) read his book.  Snooby stumbled a reply.

Probably. Noory is most likely fudging the affiliate total to claim a new high.
But he doesn't enumerate how many now are very low power stations, whereas years ago many were high powered stations...

Unfortunately, they are back on in NYC.  WABC gave them the boot a few months ago, but they have been picked up by WOR, along with fellow knuckle draggers Rush and Hannity.  According to the website, George received "countless" emails pleading with him to return to the NYC market.  I guess that means at least 2 people out of 12 million wanted him back.

George is known for not having a solid understanding of the language at times, and for lying at other times.

This could be an example of either.

Or it could mean George can't count very high

Who asked you what you are, whoopty do, so you're a libertarian constitution BS yadda yadda.  Big freaking deal.  I don't want to hear your politics, I don't like it, and in my opinion, unless you want to hear my liberal viewpoints, unbridled, talk about something non political here.  I don't need to hear your simpleminded right wing blather.  Butt out of my life, with your politics, start there.

COOL!

God, Arpaio is one of the most conceited pricks I have ever heard. And he just said he has no ego, lololol! I've only tuned in about 5 minutes ago, but I swear he has used the word Sheriff at least 30 times already. (Shure-if). He really loves referring to his title, a habit of any person without an ego. What an ass.

Could switch it with Radio Scotland.

Instead of Noory you would have 6 continuous hours of fiddle and accordion music on a Saturday night.

They're still torturing Arabs with this in secret, undisclosed camps in Eastern Europe.

Are you serious, he said West of the Rockies about Denver?  Doh!  What a maroon...

So he claims he's gonna be the host for a long time again?  Sorry, George, I don't think so, somehow the planets are going to align just right and, you, sir, WILL be outed.  You are gone, within 3 years, you are gone.  In fact, the show itself may be gone within 3 years.  You've gone downhill, George, just in the last year, you've gone to crap.  Your heart isn't in it.  You are sleep walking.  Art coming back for just a month proved how much better such a show can still be.  Even the guest hosts are way better than you.  You are an amature, not a pro.  George, think, use your head for something other than a hat rack:  Why would so many people be so firmly against you?  You just don't have the ability to do the job well.  You don't.  I could do just as good a job as you, and I'm just a stupid LASER jock.  No, really, I could do your job, I could possibly even wipe the table with the ass end of your lack of skill.  And you are a dope, no less.  You believe in Chemtrails and that innoculations cause, well, we know what you think, and you are patently unscientific and stupid.  You are a numb nuts idiot.  I am a high school dropout, self educated, and even I have more sense about things than you.  Every single show you say major boners.  Your dialogue is stilted and amaturish.

When Art comes back, he's gonna destroy you without him even wanting to.  Your job is in danger, buddy, I don't know what you think, but you'll be gone soon.  Enjoy it while you can, bud, because you've only got a few years left.  Mark my words.  You should be feeling very insecure.  New shows are coming, new programming that is going to assail you and your gonna soon fear for your job.  You need to prepare to retire.  Even without Art, you'll be history.  I predict it.

Yes, Tommy was very wise to hitch his wagon to George's star.

The sad thing is with all those affiliates Noory has 7 million less listeners than Art did.

Who cares how manny affiliates george sucks on, his bottom line is pathetic.

George is sucking so much that people aren't even posting torrents of the show anymore. I think the final guy who was has finally quit and said "why bother." I'm not talking YouTube where CC/PRN will get them taken down (so I think people post there just for the fun of making them nervous and work at take down orders) but on the interwebs of torrent sites and file-sharing.

All the while bell's fan scour the dirges of the internet to find his old shows. Pathetic george.

Juan

What we don't know is the difference in overnight overall audience between 1995 (say) and now.  It's certainly different for late night television - such as the Tonight Show and Letterman's former show.  They get far fewer viewers than they used to.  People just don't watch as much television.  I'd expect to see the same decline in radio listenership, but I don't know that for a fact.  If there is such a decline, sNoory's decline might be similar to the overall decline, and thus, not an issue with Cheap Channel.  I wish I could get my hands on a bunch of ratings books.

I know!  I spend many hours outside at night during the spring and summer months.  I have always enjoyed star/planet/constellation "gazing".  Now, when everyone else is in bed, and I'm all alone at 1:30 a.m.......I start to get that CREEPY feeling because of the Paulides programs.

The last I heard, Magnum B.S. Noory was saying it was supposed to be ready by June.  Hmmm..seems like that would be now.  But, then again, Jorch has stated a number of other dates, as well.  Looks like PremRat is as good at constructing new studios as they are at running C2C.  Maybe they're busy with the Mist Tunnel. ::)  Maybe Jorch is just full of crap.

I don't know anything about how this business runs, maybe those in the know here could offer a plausible reason of it. Why would they keep George on- as others have pointed out- he's getting worse, I would not have thought that possible. Are they trying to sink the show deliberately to make way for another or possibly a new show waiting in the wings? I can't see any other explanation. These are not rookie mistakes he makes. And what's with the taunting, "I'll be on the show for a long, long time."? I can't imagine a legitimate on air talent doing that or having to do that, for that matter. This is a bigger mystery than any presented on George's shows. And, George N sucks!!!!

Juan

I think it's simply that the show is very cheap to produce, fills the programming needs of about half of Cheap Channel's stations without the individual stations having to pay, and it would appear that sNoory is a corporate suck-up who doesn't cause his bosses problems and shows up for work reliably.

Quote from: pyewacket on June 08, 2014, 09:29:13 AM

It means he's paying attention to us.  Consider it a shout out.

pyewacket

That makes sense- cheapest common denominator. I can't even consider it a show anymore. Just noise, filler, cheesy infomercials like the ones on TV. Too bad. Goergie has gotten noticeably  worse - so this site must be working a nerve. So, essentially, the corporate people don't care to produce anything of quality. I had hoped that they were trying to knock C2C off to make way for something better- but those days are gone for sure. I'm planning on getting rid of our cable because there's nothing much on for the high price we pay and radio doesn't have much to offer. Well, there are still good books. Georgie- I'm sorry, but you're really awful!
