Like comparing fine 20 yr old wine to freshly expressed goat urine.

Goat urine is probably a delicacy amongst the Noory faithful.

How is it a C2C show that preceded Clintons' Presidency is more interesting than a present C2C show hosted by Noory...  For one thing, UN-SCREENED OPEN LINES.

Has J.C. been on the air lately?

There are many here that would gladly listen to a skipping record of Art saying "Number 9" over and over than to listen to Noory so ......

Oh, hells yes! Tonight looks like a good show, finally, after a week of norrycrap:

In the first half, George Knapp welcomes filmmaker Denise David Williams, who'll discuss John Mack's story and her current attempts to turn his life into a major Hollywood film (Indiegogo Project). Dr. Mack studied over 200 abductees from all over the world, who had never met each other, and found they were telling similar accounts. Followed by UFO film scholar and expert, Robbie Graham, who will talk about the history of UFOs in Hollywood films, and if filmmakers like George Lucas and Steven Spielberg know more than they are letting on.

Edit: can you image the idiotic mess Jorch would make of this topic/guests? Thank god Knapp is conducting these interviews.

Number 9....

Noory is definitely "Numba Ten".

I wish I bought the "White Album"  decades ago when I first saw it on the rack.  Went back the next day and it was gone.   No Amazon back then.

It's weird when you listen to SIT and you're so into it that for a moment you're confused when Art mentions some current event from the 90's.

No, Noory is more like Number 2, if you catch my drift.

Windsor    CKLW-AM    50KW       800
Detroit      WJR-AM     50KW        760

These are the same in power, but they "direct" their signals especially at night to optimize for their listening audience.   I live in mid-Michgan and CKLW 800 drops out big time at night...WJR 760 is stronger by a long shot and they are essentially across the river from each other... I have an old C Crane Select-A-Tenna really helps to pull in the weaker stations like CKLW- thanks Art.

I miss michigan and your right. I believe cklw direction is northward. I think I read somewhere it was because other station in the usa are their frequency and it would run interference. I know 7 years ago cklw didn't even carry the last hour and ran it from midnight to 1am the next day.

Either way not having wjr meant that noory would have to pick up more affiliates to cover the area.

I did like listening to golden age radio on Sunday nights. Cklw used to play old radio shows like Lone Ranger and stuff like that.

zing recovery I knew what was coming. Gory George who revels in other peoples pain asked "Did just your head go through or did your complete body go through the windshield?"
This, naturally reminds me of the caring lady who hit the homeless man and left him to die with his head stuck through her windshield parked in her garage...  http://murderpedia.org/female.M/m/mallard-chante.htm

George, Roanoke Colony was in North Carolina, not Virginia.  You retard.  The guest let you have a pass on that.
Don't be stupid.  Everybody knows that Roanoke was in Oklahoma... Hence the name. ::)

Juan

WJR is a Class A clear channel station - meaning that it has priority for that frequency and it does not have to make it's signal directional.  Any other station on that frequency has to direct it's signal away from WJR.

CKLW is a Class B clear channel station - meaning that it is clear channel in Canada, but has to shift its signal around to protect XEROK in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico.

I doubt that anyone actually in Detroit or Windsor could tell the difference.

Thankfully there isn't scent emitting hardware available now, someone with it installed might stumble onto Noory and drop dead from the odor.

'WE' might survive but only with oxygen therapy and a number of other treatments to recover from the stench.... the stench that pervades when now tuning into to C2C on weeknights.  The first Sunday night of the month stinks too.

It's a Knapp night, so all is good now on C2C.

My photoshop skills are severely lacking but this photo could do with the insertion of another dick. Or a dildo. I'm not fussy.

Oh no...

Lady, this isn't a good idea.

Oh Christ.

"Izzit a mean baby?"

George Noory is probably my favorite host. He gives his guest plenty of time to speak, which I think is important. And he doesn't judge.

aldousburbank

If I chose to listen, I could not fathom how much you suck George, but I don't, but you still do.
