"It really makes you wonder how you can't believe in God" paraphrasing  Jorge on eclipse

Today is one of the great days for science, physics, and astronomy. George just wants to boil it down to God.

And now the numbers lady. i am done.

GN: Glynis, have you ever been to Canada?
Glynis: No I have not, and it's beautiful!

Uhhhhhh.... Let's try less caffeine, numbers idiot

First she is numbers idiot, now she is "passion's lady".

Jorch acknowledged us tonight, the Numbers Lady told him how everybody loves him to which Jorch replied 'some of them do then there are the haters'.

He then made a predictably dumb statement that the moon passing in front of the sun somehow proves there is something beyond our understanding he's too cowardly to say is God. Science Jorch, scientists predicted today's event right down to the minute, there is nothing mysterious about the movements of the earth, moon and sun you primitive simpleton.

Aaargh! I had laughed aloud at 'the solar eclipse of sun', but this enraged me. He wrapped it up in 'an emotional email' from his son, who had also watched the eclipse with his kids elsewhere in St Louis. And there were multiple 'really's, played with slow heavy emphasis by Noory.
As immense an experience as totality is, how the hell you see an arbitrary alignment of Earth, the Sun and Earth's arbitrarily captured satellite (which is very gradually escaping, meaning that eventually eclipses just won't happen) creating an optical illusion in an arbitrary patch of Earth as proof of the existence of God beggars belief. I have my doubts as to the veracity of this email, but if it is real, clearly Noory fils is as moronic as Noory pere.
Jorch's religious editorializing is becoming increasingly frequent and heavy-handed. He was at it again with his second-half guest, marveling that these substances that can help us, like penicillin in willow bark, have been put here for us, leading to a condescending sideswipe at 'agnostics and atheists'.

If George were to be transported to some primative society, he would be perfectly happy sacrificing farm animals to appease the gods if some witchdoctor told him to

You missed the "numbers lady" who didn't listen to Norry and had to keep say "say again" because she wasn't listening to Norry. There was also lots of garbling of the news and pronunciation issues. He claims that Tommee "almost" got Jerry Lewis as a guest. I think he fled to the Norry's C2C Redoubt in Boston prior to passing.

The "brass" at Premiere Networks should feel a sense of pride this morning after its "Shining Star" in overnight talk-radio really "dropped the ball" for his August 21, 2017 program.

Instead of an insightful, four-hour montage of this event, relating experiences from so many who were part of it, Noory decides it's best to have him describe what "he" felt and then reading some baloney, self-serving email from...his son...to "sum up" the event for "all of us."

As someone noted above and very true, Noory began his supposed "eight hours of show prep" by calling the event: "A solar eclipse of the sun." Moron. According to Noory, our solar-system's star eclipsed itself and our sole satellite -- called the moon -- had nothing to do with it. Now do you believe in God?

What rubbish from Premiere Networks from its syndicated program that prides itself on such subjects. All we hear is the "it's all about me and my family" baloney -- completed with tears of joy, emotional highs and assorted nonsense. If that event was the "biggest" or most "moving" event in both his and his son's lives, I suggest they get out more.

Damn it. Even Premiere's Jim Rome on sports talk -- sports talk -- far surpassed Noory's coverage of the event. It was that "dark a day" -- pun intended -- for Premiere last night. Laughing stocks of the business for allowing Noory to continue the imbecilic line of "insight" and "knowledge" he claims his "program" provides.

Hey, Noory. Work on your bumper music. As in the B-52s vintage tune. "There's A Moon In The Sky (Called The Moon)". Dummy...A "Rock Lobster" Noory ain't, all.

According to Ben Fuchs' website, here comes: "Lunch With Producer Tom Danheiser of Coast To Coast AM, Pharmacist Ben Fuchs and Producer Lori Wagner," August 29, 2017 in Los Angeles, California."

"Learn The Latest In Alternative Health," it declares. It should be more at asking these three con artists why:

-- Premiere Networks doesn't air FDA disclaimers about those snake-oils, why the full measure of the "sponsorship" or who is getting "money, compensation or anything of value" may not be fully disclosed;
-- How "criticalhealthnews(dot)com" is nothing but a Youngevity Independent Distributor run by a radio station, apparently, although the three clowns above may want to "fool you" into thinking it's a valid, licensed medical facility; and
-- Why the sponsor's landing page on its website claims none of what you find there is meant to replace the advice of your medical doctors -- but such is never told to the "Coast" audience -- or if they take full responsibility or accept malpractice liability for the health and welfare of those they take on as "patients."

Now, that would be some "learning" at the meeting. Letting them know you are recording their answers and any such disclosure they make will be published or made public.

Jorch was happily blowing-up pizza rolls in the microwave, as Tommee sacrificed Twinkies down his gullet.  Oh, the carnage.

Though to his credit Norry gave a thumbs up too about "taking LSD and wrestling with women in mud" (I forget the specific wording) last night during the Adjunct-Professor* who advocated psychedelics who was trying to make a difference between "partying" and spiritual introspective or religion using drugs. I wasn't aware that Plato and "that other guy Aristotle" tripped all the time. But a lame guest. Nothing like McKenna(s) as guests on the subject with good C2C hosts.

* that is, the dude is nice so give him a job sometimes but not a track to tenure, he does too much drugs even for Oregon.

That is Katherine Albrecht (no relation.) I like her as a guest. She has a children's book so you can "teach your grandchildren about the mark of the beast." But, as an aside, I agree with her on 'chipping' and loss of anonymity and the problems it entails. Much of what she wrote about years ago is coming true, biggely.

Can you imagine if the Alt-left and Alt right and those in between united in the cause of fighting smart meters and smart-chipped cards, etc? Nothing necessarily radical just spending clogging the system with complaints by the tens or hundreds of thousands.  Just wanted to seed that thought out there.

What in the world? All day, the nation was bombarded from "coast to coast" -- no offense -- with the lunar eclipse? Like the guy hosting "Coast To Coast AM" wasn't building it up for weeks, getting the wrong "eclipse-safe glasses" -- the same ones he admitted he got for others and probably recommended -- and tonight doesn't have the instincts to do a special on it?

Gee, I must be a dunce. I predicted tonight's program would be a mix of astronomy guests and "Open Lines" about today's event. With users calling in with their experiences. What in the world? The schedule states "Numerology/ Psychedelic Medicines." What?

Not to mention how many "fans" of Noory may have sustained eye damage from the event if they fell for the "safe glasses" scam like apparently the host himself did. Like he cares?

Way to go, Noory. Missing out on the biggest event in the news today. Probably only giving it a "brief mention" -- instead of dedicating the program to it -- and instead going into "Numerology/ Psychedelic Medicines" nonsense and scams.

GNS. Clueless as the day is long. And then some.

Yeah, surprising.  Reminds me of the time he did read of an anti-women Aussie survey, a survey which he portrayed as alleging that men think ladies' Crocs are sexier than wedges. And a few other put-downs on women.  But, the real survey, the original source, actually concluded men had no preference. Then George totally missed a counter-balancing story, which could have redeemed him in the the eyes of the female half of his listeners.  The second story was also from Australia, about the Aussie co-host Mr. Stefanic, who experimented with feminism by wearing the same suit for a year to point out that no one criticized his male priviledge, while his female co-hosts were criticized relentlessly all year long for their beautiful assorted outfits.

Saddest of all, George never corrected the portrayal of the Aussie survey.  I mean, the error was so obvious!  Up to that year at least, Crocs were definitely not sexy!   So I checked the NY Times and sure enough, the NY Times did portray the Aussie survey as concluding that men find Crocs sexier than wedges.  But I found the original survey online through some coupon company, and the survey results I saw did not lead to the conclusion of the NY Times.  The REAL survey was pro-woman, and while it did say men think Crocs are sexier (which really means the men had no idea what a wedge is), the real survey more importantly said most men did not have ANY preference at all regarding the sexiness of their female lovers' footwear! Totally supportive of women and totally the opposite of what George said.

So does George hate women? I thought he was big on checking original sources.  Even if Premiere made him read the NY Times error, he could have ran a correction later, or balanced the scales using Mr. Stefanic's experiment, or any number of pro-woman news stories.  I mean, here it was, Mr. King of the night airwaves totally dissing women, per the NY Times, and not even feeling it was worth checking the original sources!  Seems to me if someone paid a news announcer to read something which denigrated the autonomy of a sub-group of citizens, the news announcer would check the original source, even if it was after-the-fact, and proceed with some ethics by either clarifying the original meaning, or counter-balancing the story with another perspective.  Hell, a man in his position COULD have shamed the NY Times for irresponsible jounalism.  But then they'd raise his rates I guess.

Norry claimed that Bev Harris catches "a lot of fodder" over her activities with regard to fraudlent voting and corruption. I think meant to say "flak" but, in the usual Norry way mixed up the phrasing.

Semi-frequently you hear him making fun of or insulting women on the show, usually callers. But I'm not sure it is only women because he treats other callers with some contempt or for "fun." Regular caller Cornelius is like a "Stepin Fetchit" for Norry and Norry always ask him to say his catch-phrase.

One caller really praised Norry: said Norry was "the man." "He is Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon." "Has a backbone and stands up to the obvious evil."

I love to ask Albrecht how these chips and readers are supposed to function after Wormwood and the other two massive objects that are prophicised in Revelation knock the modern world back into a pre-industrial state?

Can there be any better example of Noory and his 'team' operating in a bubble and paying no attention to what they're doing than this tonight?

1.00am (ET): News bulletin reports that one winning ticket for the powerball lottery appears to have been sold in Massachusetts.

1.16am: Joorch tells us that no winning ticket has been sold.

He goes on to tell us that billions of dollars of lottery prize money goes 'unclimbed' every year.

1.29 am. Joorch tells us a winning ticket has been sold. Muses that he has an uncle in Mass, hopes he bought it. Still sucks.

Waterboarded a childhood bully.  Weird mix in this guy.  He did interview Helen Reddy, though, in 2008. I guess feminism is high strangeness to him!

This Craig Hulet character is such a blowhard know it all but I do like how he gets snarky with George. He's a fraud I'm sure, he refers to 'clients' who pay him for god knows what, he intimates that his clients are major corporations who pay for his analysis of world affairs. LOL sure buddy.

Yeah,  the guy is an immediate "pass" for me.  The idea of Hulet as a paid analyst is puzzling, to me he takes what's going on in the world and massages events to reinforce his predetermined world view.  That's ass backwards what a competent analyst does with information.

Norry often brags about how his show "is the most listened to show in prisons," and "they have lots of fans in prison" (often, in the same conversation brags about how many cops listen and "we love the police.") I wonder how many felons, or people in the current holding jail, are aware of SDM and Melissa due to the show? Will this cause better, or worse, treatment on the inside? Can he wear capes on the inside?
