They gotta do something with those dead cows. Can't let good meat go to waste.

Yes but those ain't gonna be no juicy steaks, if ya know what I mean.

A female caller just told Noory that she loves him and wants to marry him.
Noory replied "send in pictures" :P

I listened to about five minutes of the supposed astrologer before I turned it off. Sounded like a United Nations shill.

I heard about 15 minutes of a lady that hunted demons(?). George asked some decent questions but then fell apart to "that's amazing". Needs to finish stronger.

Sounds like plenty of people hunt demons. I wonder if I can get on C2C as a dragon hunter.

I caught a few mins. of the news, predicted a "Strange story there", got it, and bailed.

Ha!  How's that paranormaldate.com working for you, Jorch?

Tuned in for the news, but got caught up listening to the Libertarian guest.  I gotta say, for all the non-stop avalanche of daily political coverage, it's amazing how rarely you hear anything besides Party A vs. Party B.  Ok I confess I'm sympathetic, but my point is, it's just friggin refreshing to hear some other ideas, any other ideas.

Don't put lust in his Victorian heart like that!

Don't put lust in his Victorian heart like that!

Victorian heart really doesn't need that much seasoning. Simply using a modest use of salt and pepper will do.

Some recipes do go more elaborate. One popular recipe involved seasoning Victorian heart with rosemary, then cooking it in chicken broth. The more adventerous lot, inspired by the myriad spices arriving daily from all parts of the British Empire, served Victorian heart with a curry sauce, or with cayenne or even chili peppers.

Our Jorch: "Is I.S.I.S. like S.P.E.C.T.E.R. in the James Bond films?"

::) ::) ::)

Interesting... So, they are looking at a maximum payday of around $50 000 minus expenses.  Hall rental, guest appearances, hotels, flights, meals, Noories back up band...  I'm not saying it is not worth it- but it does not seem like a massive payday even if you factor in the CD sales for "Geroge sings Elvis" and "Jorch's top 100 hits."
You call him a hustler, I call him a piece of sh!@.

Don't forget Pay-Per-Poo revenue (if they did it once they'll probably do it again), and at the big show the expected tables of merchandise loaded with "our partners" health products, C2C Insider subscription pushers, and guest book sales. It all adds up.

True story: I've only listened to George Noory once since 2007.

Lucky.

It's refreshing that I'm not the only one who loathes the guy. I simply cannot believe he is still on the air. He must have something on someone over at that network.

Which was one time to many.

Somehow Norry's constant throw-away line "to do what they needed to do" when he applies it to murderous terrorists or serial killers is bizarre and not in good taste.  "Whacked out" people don't "need" to kill people, they could seek professional help, simply kill themselves, etc.

Is Dave on the air tonight? It'll be pretty ironic if alleged person of Turkish descent Dave Noory has the night off when there's an attempted coup in Turkey. Imagine the nonsense and misinformation that would come out of Dave's information-challenged mouth over this.

Why doesn't George see uh-levin uh-levins all over thuh place anymore?

Because he learned to count to twelve twelve.  Falkie is offering free tutoring to him.

Morgus

Noory always comes up with the worst and unimaginative special topic lines for his weekly open lines.
Tonight he came up with "the scariest thing you have ever seen"
Compare to that to the Art Bell classic lines for time travelers, Area 51 employees, anti-christs, etc...

He thought each "1" was like a stick-figure shadow person that was psychic-vampiring him, so now he just has Tommee tell him when it's 11:12.

Racist.

Lebanese Egyption, not Turkish if my memory serves me correctly.

Despite Dave's hosting disabilities last night, the guest was rather interesting.  I listened on my way home from hanging out with a couple Daily Show correspondents.

The Minerva Monster guy was a good listen. (side note: I am from near there in Ohio, so that may have influenced my opinion)

I caught a bit of this, since I have a soft spot for local cryptid lore.  Dave was actually on the low end of the eye-rolling scale last nite.
