George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No

What could be better on a Sunday night, the first of the year no less, than a Noory show about natural health and touchy feely bliss?  I can't decide if I'd rather listen to that or stick my pecker in a meat grinder.

Not another year of c2c with George Snorey..... :(
George is the WORST interviewer on Coast

NoMoreNoory

Joorch starts out tonight with the heartwarming story of the pastor in Fayetteville who supposedly disarmed a guy who walked into his church with gun and ammo and murderous intent.....with the power of love. Sat the guy down in a pew until he'd finished the service and then got him to address the congregation.
The guy admitted he had set out, according to Joorch, 'to do terrible things, even though his life had been on an upswing lately.'
Here, the Fumblegums Syndrome kicked in, and Joorch added another new word to his version of the English language. 'Upsquing'.
Definitions on a postcard, please......

Say what you want, but Jorch shows up for work and is able to hold down a job. That's more than you can say for Art.

He was doing it in the style of his idol, Casey Kasem.   And even though it was on paper in front of him, he couldn't pull it off.

Yeah, he shows up all right, but he does a shit job, consistently, night after night....

That doesn't mean that he isn't the king of the non sequitur and that he isn't funny:  Tonight when he was introducing Wallach (isn't this guy a guest at least once a week now?) and noting that although Wallach is a veterinarian, he still can do human stuff too:  "Humans?  Animals?  We all have the same complexities."

The  on-air conversations between him and Tommy almost qualify as brain-dead.  You can only imagine what they talk about off the mic....

I don't know how the hell this guy was ever promoted past copy boy, but he's making the big bucks and apparently a lot of people listen to him.  Me, too (on very rare occasions).

No, but you reminded me of another highlight.  In the middle of one of Carr's rants, George clearly thought he was speaking only to Tommy, as opposed to over the air.   George said something to the effect of, "Tommy, can he hear me?  He must not be hearing me, he's not answering.  He just keeps talking.".

George is so awful, it's tempting to start listening again for the spectacle, at least in small doses.

I'm not listening tonight.  I just can't take the quack health crap.  I've got a few minutes in over the holidays, though.  I'll say one thing for Noory.  It's amazeen how consistent he is at being bad.  Just so laughably bad.

Not Sure, but I think even the Germans are making fun of Jorch now:

One can only imagine if that convenience store from way back when stocked these "PizzaBurgers" what sort of Nasopharyngeal calamity would have befallen the igNooron...

Another of Joorch's restaurant tales last night.
He was with his son and grandson. "They have their birthdays on the same date, and it's cute, so we were in a restaurant." There's a logical progression there that escapes me, but never mind. A woman approaches him. "You're George Noory, aren't you?" Story short: her husband is a cardiologist, and she wishes he knew as much about nutrition as Joorch.
Joorch loves to present himself as a health expert, and yet what do we know about his own nutritional habits? Turkey sammiches and pizza rolls from convenience stores and a life lived in restaurants hoping to be recognized. Hardly the best approach to dietary excellence. It's probably only the baking soda, toomrack and Carnivora keeping him going.

The funniest bit was just as George starting taking a call from some old gal, Carr started humming loudly.  THe caller said something like, "I can't hear you George." George replied, "That's because Anthony is humming as we are talking."

Recommended listening.

I'm almost sorry I missed this.

Was the bumper music going into or coming back from the next break The Who - "Tommy Can You Hear Me"?

Joorch would only get confused. He thinks The Who is The World Health Organization.

George apparently can't get his head wrapped around the idea that setting fires on land you don't personally own is wrong.

George actually used the word "complexities?" Wow. Thats a big word for him. I must say, I'm surprised. In another 10 years he might be able to read an entire paragraph without throwing up on himself.
