In this heart to heart fireside confessional chat the word will await the announcement that for the last decade had not been stated.

It is leaked that Noron will let the work know what many have written and decaded many hours of their lives writing about.

It will be admitted, "Yes, I suck, I know I suck, and I have gotten rich from sucking."

Tune in.  A follow-up response will be broadcast from Nevada where a voice from the desert will comment.

I'm sure if it was up to George, he would replace the bumper music with Carnavora commercials - restricting music to his renditions of Elvis. I do wonder when George performs Elvis live if he also includes the gyrating pelvis.

Do you think maybe a super-dose of Carnavora might help get that gyrating image out of my brain?  I need help to somehow un-visualize that image.

The e-mails and fastblast have flown fast and furious the last two or three week in the offices.  Many complaints have been registered.  The problem is what do you do with a Noron?  There is a contract.  Something, however must be done about the behaviors.

Here is what is proposed.  Since Coast is run like a nursery school, the discipline should be equal to the backdrop.  So, what has been suggested is that Noory get a time out. 

To be diplomatic, there has been an instapoll set up on Twitter.  It is a yes or no question.  Does Noory deserve a time out? 

Twitter your response to #timeoutforNoory.  The results will be posted on the Coastgab website.

All twitter responses will be entered in a drawing to be at the cermonious last day of work for  Noory, soon to be celebrated.  It will an all expense paid visit to LA and a buffet of exotic microwave pizza rolls.

Art needs a new show.

Agreed.  Start from scratch and rebuild from the ground up what Noory & other guilty participants have hollowed out and corrupted.

Honestly if I was someone on the level of Dr. Michio Kaku I would have dropped going to the show by now.

Agreed again.  I recently heard a great old Art & Michio show where they discussed the early days of nuclear physics research and it was so cool, unlike the ones with George where the best one can hope for is that he just stay quiet and not ask too many silly questions.

Speaking of bumper music when Art used to host he would sort of meld with the bumper music.

Thrice agreed.  Somehow the old Art bumper music just tied in.  Sometimes it was just great music, other times it dovetailed in with the topics.  Even when the music wasn't my favorite, it was still somehow fun with Art, as you could tell he had thought about it, and maybe even sometimes it was even a bit tongue-in-cheek.  George's just seems so generic somehow, even when they're actually decent songs.

I'll cut to the chase; I thought George Noorey was very disrespectful with his ruses and teases to Linda Staci.  If he had no respect for her work, he simply should not interview her rather than what he did.  He sometimes does this lame stuff with open lines and it isn't funny then either.  He comes off as bored with this gig and it makes for boring interviews.  I really wish he would clear out and let one of the many enthusiastic hosts waiting in the wings take over.


The demonic voice was obviously a  set-up.  Noorey is not a very good actor because I could tell he was lying over the radio.  The ruse about the picture moving was just plain silly. 


I may not be listening to C2C as hosted by George Noorey much in the future.

Thanks. I bought that book, not in the summer of '88 during "Mort-Mania", but in Feburary,1998.  At a "Buck A Book" no less.
         
           I had a T-Shirt of that mouth logo in the summer of '88. My mother was embarrassed by it and refused to hang it on the clothesline. I was 13 and actually grew out of it by that fall...which kinda sums up how that show fared as well. But it was funny as hell that first year(Oct 1987-August, 1988) when WWOR ruled the planet.

Thanks your letter to Noory. As for the 5 years at Coast I recall Noory always said that he just signed for another 5 years.
I have not listened since the start of the Monday night show. You did rattle whoever it was Nory or Tommy. I have done some research on the other web sites amd facebook and there are many who do not enjoy the show. And when the people do not buy E- foods or Carnavora the sponsor might leave.
I saw a site called radio ratings and they said Noory was very bad. This was a radio industry reviewer. How does Noory not know how much the people dislike his show?
And on the bumper music, he does not play any Beatles, no biggies like Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones, or any of the great stuff from the 60's (my era) 70's and he seems to have a limited knowledge of music. Those emerging artist demo's he plays are not good. I would hate to think what the real bad ones sounded like.
I am a music lover. We used to go to a restaurant in Philadelphia with a great R&B band on Friday and Saturday nights. And when we lived in NYC we went to a hole in the wall bar with the best Jazz without a cover charge on 93rd and Broadway. Some of them were in Jazz and later had appeared on the Black Entertainment cable channel. Real cool stuff. George clearly is in a time warp musically.
When the ratings drop and I hope they do, maybe they will fire him? We can hope.

Wasn't this for a Thanksgiving dinner, with George running and skipping ahead of the guy.  First off, why wasn't George having dinner with his grown children and their families on Thanksgiving - isn't that why he needs to go back to St Louis all the time?  I wonder who goes to a mall for Thanksgivig, but lots of people go out to eat and it's possible some ok restaurant was attached to a mall somewhere.  Why would George be running ahead of his dinner companions, and why would they feel the need to keep up?

Dangerous delusional, IMO. You hear him confusing Eyes Wide Shut with reality and claiming Kubrick was killed by the devil as a result of making that movie?. Killed by the vengeful gods of the cinematographic arts for making such a piece of crap, possibly.
Go look at recent cases here in the UK: Nottingham, Cleveland, Orkney. You start with a child's drawing of a demon, or a figure in a black cloak with an arrow pointing to it saying 'Daddy'. Some bozo buys into it as literal truth and soon you have kids being dragged from loving homes or blurting all kinds of stuff in 'interviews'. Turn the spotlight of rational investigation on this hysteria and what do you find? Nothing.


And Noory is lapping it all up like a wide-eyed kid in Sunday School. No serious questioning, no proper assessment of what's being claimed. The 'Jeez' quotient was off the charts tonight. Dangerous, too, to put a maniac like Dizdar in the hands of an intellectual pigmy like Joorch. Knapp or Punnett could have handled him, and wouldn't have given him a free pass.

They've aired that zinger for ages. The hosts of The Paracast (including occasional guest Ecker) don't take kindly to Simple George. And I'm sure they don't tell their guests they want to talk about ANGELS before the show starts.

Back in the day, I watched both Joe Pyne and Morton Downey and wanted to see them do a battle royal together. Pity Pyne died too early. You could add Pete Franklin to that and make it a trifecta.


As to Ecker, I'd never listened to the podcast before yesterday. Found it by accident.

     Did Noory say, at the beginning of the program, when he was teasing his interview with Dr. Peter Breggin on suicide, "don't worry, we won't have anyone doing that on the show"?  Yeah, I think he did.  I don't think this guy gives a rats ass what he says, or what anyone thinks about it.  If his "Osama bin Laden is like Jesus" speech he gave the night they shot that turd didn't get him kicked off the air, then nothing is going to do it short of Art Bell walking in there and tossing him out on his ass like that scene in Tombstone.  And speaking of movies, is Eyes Wide Shut and Contact the only movies George has ever seen?  And why would somebody call into the show as "anonymous" when they could just make up a name?  And while I thought Russ Dizdar was somewhat entertaining, because a hypnotized army of murderous satanist are always fun, there was just something about him I didn't trust.

Yup good email as always. In fact, ALL of our complaints are good.  But it seems pointless to send feedback to the producers.  They just ignore it or assume we are troublemakers. Similar to how an employee bullied by their boss speaks up and then the employee somehow becomes the bad person for speaking up.  Not once has any improvement been made towards George's interviewing 'skills'. I can only assume that after 10 years of this nonsense that Lisa and Tom are idiots as well.
