Great! Thanks, found it. Honestly, haven't been listening to the radio much. Besides Art, nice to find myself enjoying some neat programs to have playing in the background while working. And this is a great one. May invest in buying the radio.

M83 are probably my favorite band, ever. Took me 2 years to see them because every goddamn show they were playing in NY was sold out. Ended up flying to Paris one weekend to see them. Worth. the. wait.

Class and sophistication. Sexy cool. Roxy Music has been a favorite for many years. Later, also Ferry's solo work. I was hired at Radio City Music Hall a day before his show there which I had tickets to. This is one along with many that inspired many paintings. Still does. Had to be up at.6 am with only three hours of sleep from an allnighter of writing. Was about to relax after getting home today. But, I reached for this album and the magic grabbed me again. Surrounded by paints and grasping beauty like elusive ghosts to force appearance on canvas.

I have been a fan of Bryan Ferry since before Phil Manzanerra joined him. Now a fan of both.

Seen him in concert 3 times... don't really like his stage presence, but love his music.

Such an intoxicating mix of ...hard to put in words, really. Can put on 'More Than This' and the rush of daily stuff halts. Cruel joke I started at Radio City a day later. Not that I needed to meet him. Wouldn't have anything to say. Haven't heard his new album, have you?

No, I have become a slave to my meager selection and rarely buy anything new. I think the newest music I have purchased is over 10 years old. I mean I bought it like a year ago... but it's older music.

Love the first Maiden album, so many good songs. A nice rough, almost punk like edge to songs like Running Free and Sanctuary. The became an entirely different band with Dickinson, and then McBrain.

It is so good. After not listening to the full album for over a year, it really amazed me all over again. Strange World has always been a favorite of mine. It has such an ethereal feel to it.

They always have such a great lineup. Every year something comes up and I end up not making it.

Thanks for the reminder, that's this coming weekend. Taking a car all the way there and trying to find parking is probably out, I think they have valet bicycle parking.

I looked up Pink Martini, wondering where such a middle eastern vibe would be from and found ... Portland?
My oldest lived there for four or five years and loved it's eclectic creative vibe. Nice share.

They've been around for years. I discovered them when their music was used in Dead Like Me. Check out their version of 'Que Sera Sera'. Haunting, exquisite and tender. Many styles, some recorded in French, some in Chinese. Here's a fun one. Love them. Saw them in concert a couple times.

This is a song I wrote on the mandolin shortly after my Mothers passing.
It is me saying goodbye to here.

The timing is off and the sound is pretty bad but it wasn't a time to be playing with a metronome.

Now I say it is a song for anybody to has ever lost someone close to them. I plan on rerecording it soon. perhaps I will use a metronome and a better mic.
