You are wallowing in ignorance.  By Trump's time birth dates were pulled in a lottery and were assigned numbers.  If you got a high number, the draft might not get to you.  That's what happened with Trump.  The draft never got to his number that year, so he was not drafted.  That's quite a different thing than draft dodging.

I've been investing and actively trading for twenty years, and there almost certainly will be a correction. Of course, the timing is impossible to predict, but the best time to reduce your exposure and take some profits off the table is when the market looks like it's going to keep soaring for awhile. Warren Buffett says, "Be fearful when people are greedy, and be greedy when people are fearful." That advice works pretty well for him. You might miss out on some gains, but another investment saying is, "Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered." I didn't heed that advice during the tech stock bubble and lost a small fortune on paper, but it was a valuable, if agonizing, lesson. I've erred on the side of caution ever since, and recently moved some money out of the market. Bottom line is, do what makes you comfortable.

Yeah, I got a haircut in the Tech Bust too. (Who didn't).  Thanks for the advice. Speaking of Warren Buffett, my wife has some money in Berkshire Hathaway and she's going to take some off that table soon.

Lots of good stuff in there. Section 5, Part B will infuriate Obama and the left. (It prioritizes religious minorities, in other words possibly grant (once background checked, interviewed, etc,) refuge to Christians and others in places like the Middle East etc and not use the refugee program to import Muslims.)

Sec 11 is also nice, though he should've added general crimes to the order, not just "terrorism," so the media won't be able to cover the problems.

In general, I agree with you. In actuality, the courts have given them the same rights... otherwise there would be no trials for crimes. If an illegal commits a crime, they enter the same criminal justice system that you or I would. The only difference is that often they are denied bail due to the flight risk.

This sums up the legal precedents that have been established.

"It takes more in the way of I.D. to rent ice skates and bowling shoes than it does to vote in some blue slates."  (I wish that I had said that.)  Why is there any question of whether there should be an investigation of voter fraud in the last election?  It is a known fact that it exists and it is against the law.  Isn't it a simple matter of law enforcement.  And please, don't argue that it would destroy voter confidence.  Ending or drastically curtailing voter fraud would go a long way to restore my confidence.
