No, but you don't make sense.  If a small state has 7 electoral votes from the last census, that represents a certain portion of the population.  Unless there is a huge shift in population, that will also be representative of the voting population in the election.  It does NOT give the state MORE power in the election.  It has 7 votes because that is the proper proportionate number as compared to the entire population of the country.  They really don't change that much.

A populous state will have MORE electoral votes because the state has MORE PEOPLE.

So, the electoral votes represent the population, be it small or large.

There is no need for an electoral college EXCEPT for the fact that the delegates can vote for other than the choice of the public.

Man, when one of these folks gets stuck on something that's it isn't it.  Ugh.

The left just needs an entirely new party.

It will be fun to see that happens...they will come back, over time...I'm sure...

well damn! who knows.... you might be right for once. Trump might turn into being just like every other politician in DC.  ;) ;D :P
Yes.  Trump wanted top secret security for his kids(who are handling the businesses).  I remember, it was not too long ago when he said he did not need a blind trust because he would not discuss politics with his children.

Trump's main motivation in his entire life has been money.  He has told us he will take advantage of loopholes in the law to further his fortune.  He is proud of it.  For people to think he's all of a sudden become patriotic is just silly.

They'll find a way, but the fact that Keith Ellison and Howard Dean are their idea of good replacements for Wasserman-Schultz and Brazile shows that they learned nothing from this.

*On Sunday, Trump said in an interview on the news program "60 Minutes" that "what we are going to do is get the people
that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, a lot of these people â€" probably two million,
it could be three million â€" and getting them out of our country."
Central America's violent gangs, known as "maras," emerged in the 1980s when migrants who had fled El Salvador's civil war
were deported by the U.S. after committing crimes as members of street gangs in Los Angeles.
The deportees took their criminal knowhow back with them and started new gangs.

The U.S. government in 2012 estimated about 1.9 million immigrants were criminals and could face deportation.
The Migration Policy Institute, a Washington think tank, estimated 820,000 of those are in the United States illegally.

Mike Vigil, former chief of international operations for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration,
said at least some deportees will likely embrace drug trafficking, using already established U.S. connections to increase
the amount of heroin and other drugs sent across the border. Even deporting only the felons would backfire
by causing more violence in Mexico and Central America, he said.*

I don't think our schools are teaching such subjects in an unbiased manner.  They wave flags and say we have the best system in the world.  We may, but even this can use some tweeking.

There is no need for an electoral college EXCEPT for the fact that the delegates can vote for other than the choice of the public.

We can have only  538 electoral votes total.  Let's say Ohio loses population between 2010 and 2020.  These people go to a variety of states causing no substantial shift in the number of their representatives.  Maybe Ohio will lose 1 representative which equals 1 electoral vote but then again maybe not.  It takes a great shift in population to cause an increase or decrease in representatives.  Do you get what I am saying?  No state can have fewer than 3 electoral votes and unless part of the country turns into a nuclear wasteland, no states will likely get more than 55.  There is a ceiling.  If there was no ceiling, then the large states would have an even larger amount of electoral votes making the small states insignificant.

I don't think what I've been writing in my posts about the electoral college is difficult to understand so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  Maybe someone else can do a better job.  I tried.

You must not have seen my post with the corrected results after subtracting the non-citizen vote and the rest of the typical Democrat voter fraud.

Which is consistent with every other assertion you pull out of your ass.

Hmm the heroin addicts in the US won't be happy... Naturally, Trump knows exactly who he's going after doesn't he? Because drug dealers and gang members have a neon sign on their baseball caps to announce it.

Trump redefines delusion.

They really screwed the pooch. They needed to run Bernie, but could not dump their own establishment like the Republicans did. To defend that, they told us how Hillary was qualified and mainstream. She lost. So now they're finally dumping their establishment by putting in dingbats that will only further alienate them from their constituency. The fall of liberalism and the Democratic Party that just two weeks ago was made out by the media to be the future of humanity turned out to just be really sad.

I can't believe that they didn't realize that 1. an alternate media was forming on the internet and 2. you can't polish a turd, if your candidate is bathed in corruption while the media is openly trying to get her elected you're going to end up with people not turning out because they either think she's corrupt or they are convinced that she's going to win and don't need to turn out.

Lulz...hope you don't need any of those pesky social welfare programs Paul Ryan wants to cut, when your failing business goes belly up. If I need a dot matrix printer I know where to go, Benji. Do you stock VCR's too?
