All the Trumptards are going to have major buyer's remorse. I give it about six months before they're all bitching about Trump and what a crook he is and how he isn't doing anything he promised the base.

Lolz...You were wrong about everything...you offer nothing...

"Donald Trump is the greatest gift the Democrats could ever ask for.
It's almost like he's a plant put in the race to destroy the Republican party.
There may be a certain number of ignorant yahoos who will vote for him in a primary,
and maybe he will even get the Republican nomination, but he will never be elected in November.
Then again, Ted Cruz will never be elected. Nor will Marco Rubio.
The only chance Republicans would stand would be with someone who can draw votes from moderates,
someone like John Kasich. As evidenced by polls that show Kasich doing well against Clinton. However,
the bat-shit voters in the Republican primaries will never give Kasich the nod.
The Republican party is royally fucked, and it's a hoot. Bwahahahahahaha."

Glad to know my words haunt you so much that you constantly refer back to my old posts. Hillary should have won. And she DID win the popular vote. Like I said, there were factors like the media stating Hillary was so far ahead that made some people not bother to vote, as well as Comey's FBI fuck, and WikiLeaks and Putin conspiring to toss a bomb into the election. And it worked because the voters in the south and Mid-West are ignorant, low information voters who believed all Trump's lies and are easily impressed by his celebrity. He's already walking back all the things he said he was going to do. People who believed him are fucking idiots.

Waddya mean? She's up by 607,000 something votes. The majority of the people voted for her, not him.

Nothing...kinda like what you got when you asked a bunch of strangers to go to Vegas with you. Poor wittle guy. Got no real friends. Just internet Trumptard friends who don't even want to spend time in Vegas with you.

Clinton won my county and that is a first.  She got the Republican female vote here.  Johnny Isakson, the Republican Senator,  handily won my county by like 12 points.

It's estimated there were at least several million votes cast by illegal immigrants, no doubt with the vast majority for Clinton.  The number of electoral votes for a state are determined based upon the census, plus at least 2 per state minimum, as is done for Senate representation.

The census is suppose to include even illegal immigrants in their count, even though they legally are not suppose to vote.  Even the census admits it's difficult to actually account for illegal immigrants, so it's possible the number of electoral votes per state are fairly legally representative, with some bias towards a higher illegitimate number, but I'd believe it's fairly close to what it should be.  I would think an illegal would be much less desirous and capable of being tracked down for the census than they would be for casting a vote.

One could argue the electoral college inadvertently actually compensates for the illegal immigration vote by potentially disallowing it, due to a census which may very well miss counting a number of illegal immigrants.  I definitely would NOT be for a total vote counting system WITHOUT proper legal identification as a legitimate U.S. voter.

The Electoral votes are one each for the number of House of Representative members, and one each for the two Senators.  So a low population state like Wyoming, with one House member and two Senators, has three electoral votes.

Everyone is counted in the census, and House seats are awarded to states based on that.  With only citizens supposed to be voting, states with a high immigrant population could be considered over-represented when it comes to the number of citizens per House member.

Unless a person understands why the Electoral College exists, they don't get to have an opinion.
You should see how they arrange stuff in YP's country! They had/have a somewhat similar system but reform some of it over time. Still weird sometimes. Weird constituencies, peerage or land-based (changed somewhat now,) all kinds of behind-the-scenes intrigue (watch the original BBC House of Cards not this new stuff,) writs by Chancery for by-elections, etc.

Please, dispute the fact that he is walking back everything he promised his easily led Trumptards. Please dispute it.

1.  He said some places will have to use a fence instead of a wall.  The environment is just not conducive for a wall.  Where he can build a wall, he will.

2.  Trump has said for a while now that he was only going to immediately deport the criminal element in the illegal population.

3.  Trump has merely said he is going to allow those with pre-existing conditions to continue receiving insurance and allow young adults to stay on family insurance until they are 26 or so.  The rest of Obamacare goes.  I see nothing wrong.

4.   Trump fired Chris Christie because he was bringing in Bushies and Pence is straightening that out.  Bolton doesn't put up with shit from the UN so I'm good with him.  If he pushes wars with Russia and such, I'll be the first to criticize.

Jeff Sessions is going to be a prominent player in the Trump administration and he won't put up with shit regarding the illegal situation.

Donald Noory

C'mon Trumptards, dispute that fact that Trump is walking back his promises on major issues.

The wall.
Deportations.
Obamacare.

These are the main issues that stirred up his Trumptard voters. Now dispute the fact that he's walking all that back. Fuckin morons believe any shit he spewed. Pathetic.

So you're admitting he's walking back his hardline stance on the major issues that got his ignorant base fired up. Good on ya!

He said a wall, not a fence.

He said deportation squads on day one.

He said repeal and replace Obamacare on day one.

Oh puh-leaze.  Obviously your reading comprehension is lacking.  I never believed for an instant that he was going to deport every illegal in the country but he will do much to make their stay here uncomfortable.  As for the wall, he is not walking that back.  He has always said that there were a few things he likes about Obamacare and I agree.

Speaking as a unique and if I do say so myself quite beautiful snowflake, was Newt supposed to be part of Trump's cabinet? Really the only thing I liked about Newt which everyone apparently didn't like was his idea for a Mars base.

Also, for fucks sake, it's LOSE, not loose.

So when Newt let the Rs back to power in 1994 (first time they held the House in 40 years) you wouldn't have been for them balancing the budget?  Oh sure Bill Clinton took credit for it, and the media and academia went along, but I remember Newt 'shutting down the government' to get HIS budget signed.

Or how about the much ridiculed Contract With America, that the Ds and thus their allies in the media scorned?  Remember, these are House rules, that the Rs vowed to overturn if they won the majority there.  Here are the line items.  Which would you not be in favor of?:

On the first day of their majority in the House, the Republicans promised to bring up for vote, eight major reforms to House Rules:

1.  require all laws that apply to the rest of the country also apply to Congress;
2.  select a major, independent auditing firm to conduct a comprehensive audit of Congress for waste, fraud or abuse;
3.  cut the number of House committees, and cut committee staff by one-third;
4.  limit the terms of all committee chairs;
5.  ban the casting of proxy votes in committee;
6.  require committee meetings to be open to the public;
7.  require a three-fifths majority vote to pass a tax increase;
8.  guarantee an honest accounting of the Federal Budget by implementing zero base-line budgeting.

During the first one hundred days of the 104th Congress, the Republicans pledged "to bring to the floor ten bills, each to be given a full and open debate, each to be given a clear and fair vote, and each to be immediately available for public inspection." The text of the proposed bills was included in the Contract, which was released prior to the election.

These bills were not House reforms, they were significant changes to policy. They included a balanced budget requirement, tax cuts for small businesses, families and seniors, term limits for legislators, social security reform, tort reform, and welfare reform

You can do your own research to see how much of this happened, why some failed (not all the Rs were with Gingrich), and so on.

Newt Gingrich was an effective leader and had some excellent ideas.  As a person, not so much, still - better than either Clinton, and he wasn't a crook.
