Clinton won my county and that is a first.  She got the Republican female vote here.  Johnny Isakson, the Republican Senator,  handily won my county by like 12 points.

It's estimated there were at least several million votes cast by illegal immigrants, no doubt with the vast majority for Clinton.  The number of electoral votes for a state are determined based upon the census, plus at least 2 per state minimum, as is done for Senate representation. 

The census is suppose to include even illegal immigrants in their count, even though they legally are not suppose to vote.  Even the census admits it's difficult to actually account for illegal immigrants, so it's possible the number of electoral votes per state are fairly legally representative, with some bias towards a higher illegitimate number, but I'd believe it's fairly close to what it should be.  I would think an illegal would be much less desirous and capable of being tracked down for the census than they would be for casting a vote.

One could argue the electoral college inadvertently actually compensates for the illegal immigration vote by potentially disallowing it, due to a census which may very well miss counting a number of illegal immigrants.  I definitely would NOT be for a total vote counting system WITHOUT proper legal identification as a legitimate U.S. voter.

The Electoral votes are one each for the number of House of Representative members, and one each for the two Senators.  So a low population state like Wyoming, with one House member and two Senators, has three electoral votes.

Everyone is counted in the census, and House seats are awarded to states based on that.  With only citizens supposed to be voting, states with a high immigrant population could be considered over-represented when it comes to the number of citizens per House member.

You should see how they arrange stuff in YP's country! They had/have a somewhat similar system but reform some of it over time. Still weird sometimes. 3.  Trump has merely said he is going to allow those with pre-existing conditions to continue receiving insurance and allow young adults to stay on family insurance until they are 26 or so.  The rest of Obamacare goes.  I see nothing wrong.

4.   Trump fired Chris Christie because he was bringing in Bushies and Pence is straightening that out.  Bolton doesn't put up with shit from the UN so I'm good with him.  If he pushes wars with Russia and such, I'll be the first to criticize.

Jeff Sessions is going to be a prominent player in the Trump administration and he won't put up with shit regarding the illegal situation.

Oh puh-leaze.  Obviously your reading comprehension is lacking.  I never believed for an instant that he was going to deport every illegal in the country but he will do much to make their stay here uncomfortable.  As for the wall, he is not walking that back.  He has always said that there were a few things he likes about Obamacare and I agree.

Speaking as a unique and if I do say so myself quite beautiful snowflake, was Newt supposed to be part of Trump's cabinet? Really the only thing I liked about Newt which everyone apparently didn't like was his idea for a Mars base.

You can do your own research to see how much of this happened, why some failed (not all the Rs were with Gingrich), and so on.

Newt Gingrich was an effective leader and had some excellent ideas.  As a person, not so much, still - better than either Clinton, and he wasn't a crook.
