President Donald J. Trump

What you make of this?

QuoteTrump’s fortunes rest on his core supporters, white men who lack a four-year college degree, an economically stressed and socially and politically conservative group. He leads Clinton among them by 76-17 percent, an enormous 59-point advantage. That’s widened from 40 points early this month; it’s a group Mitt Romney won by 31 points -- half Trump’s current margin -- in 2012.

I see Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick have come and out and want to attend the debates with Gennifer Flowers. Such an embarrassing clusterfuck, the Clintons. Yet again the Democratic party is going to embarrass itself to shreds and usher in an era of consecutive Republican presidencies by choosing the wrong candidate. I look forward to it in a way, actually, as I well remember how fun the scandals were in the 90's. Stained blue dresses, cigars, hehe. Should have went with Bernie lol.

You're not very well-informed are you? All over the news now, Trump pussied out and won't be bringing Gennifer. Because his handlers know it would backfire bigtime with women voters. You're pretty dumb, huh?

Yeah, it's painfully obvious that you lack a four-year college degree.

I'll have you know I spent many years in college.

Frustrated? LOL. Yeah, I know about it. And, yes, I know it would backfire with liberal female voters, not that they were going to vote for Trump anyway. God knows why though, since two of those women are victims of rape and sexual harassment and were resoundingly derided by the left and the media for it. And the third was "the other woman" for 12 years. You'd think there would be some support going on there. But, you know, if you want inconsistency and hypocrisy, the Democratic Party does it better than anyone else. Nobody can throw someone under the bus like a Democrat.

Y'know, there's really something to be said for your political commentary. Unfortunately, it's not "more, please."

Thanks, I aim to piss off. And I can do it without using memes.

As far as I can tell, like all people running for office, his verbal manifesto shifts, flip flops and changes as needed.
I used to at least understand why people like Donald "shoot from the hip" Trump.  The guy who will say what he is thinking, does not use teleprompters, and will give his opinion no matter how unpopular.

Now I see people saying that a teleprompter is fine, and that "naturally, he should flip-flop when giving speeches... All politicians do."  It seems more and more, the separation between Don, the politician and every other politician is becoming blurred...

Quoted for truth.  Agree with the "thinkers" or disagree- at least they give something to ponder more than Clinton coughing or Trumps hair.

That must have swayed dozens of voters.  ;)

Oh it is. I expected it to go like this. See, people like fakeness. You can't win an election without it. We call it professionalism, but it's really about being fake and putting people on. You can see this when we talk about people being "Presidential", meaning that they're good at bullshitting us and hiding their actual personality. We humans like that and have come to expect it from our politicians. The difference between Trump and the others was that we got a solid glimpse behind the curtain early on. Hillary we barely know after all this time, and we really only have scandal and hearsay to go on. She could be the most maligned person in the world, or the world's worst villain. We don't know because of the polished façade.

I don't need memes lol. I've got more material to beat democrats over the head with than I can use in a lifetime. They literally are the world's most obsolete political party. I suppose I should be nice though, they're literally one coughing fit during a debate away from losing the election. Kinda sad it's come down to that.

Yes, I do.

A con only works if the people being conned don't know they are being conned. Or they just like it

Like the way most media seem to be apologizing for and stumping for Hillary? And how she's been getting a pass for hiding out from the public while Trumps been campaigning like mad? That kind of con?  ???

True That.

Fair enough... I suppose that while I am not a Trump supporter (are you surprised?), I did prefer the non-polished version.

Then again, I'm not a Hillary supporter either...  For him- the unpolished version had too many major flaws.  For her- you are correct- we have only every seen the highly polished version...

Trump, nor anyone else, has any legal means to become a dictator so it's a moot point. It's been said about every sitting president for years by the fringe that they won't leave office and will take over as dictator. There's a good reason it's never happened. The law unequivocally doesn't allow for it.

However, as you previously pointed out, at the level of administration one seems to be able to commit all manner of crimes and get away with it.

True but a dictatorship would require more. It's too far out of the ordinary. The only way it could happen is 1. legislation in Congress, and that's not going to happen 2. A military coup which I don't see happening either. Enough dumbing down and an evolution into a one party system in the future might allow for it, in fact I think that's the endgame of the Democratic Party, but not anytime soon.

You're probably right but I don't know. Congress seems to have been largely ignored by this administration. Recent presidents have been relying more and more on executive authority:

The identity crisis is resolved?  You're not a porpoise?  Was it the overwhelming preponderance of dolphin-only restrooms?  I do know you are a pragmatic creature.
