Many people believe politics is still important, and don't vote for a party's candidate as if they were supporting a sports team.  Donald Trump has deeply, deeply offended many people - maybe none more so than "movement" conservatives.  The folks at RedState are far from being part of the mainstream media, and were deeply aligned with the Tea Party movement.

Just ran those number .. Minimum wage would be about  about $14 to $15 per hour to purchase a new Chevy Impala compared to 50 years ago.. Hours need work to purchase it.
Add in  health insurance of $3.00 per hours, that wasn't paid to minimum wage workers 50 years ago.  Our Bank starting per hour cost for first job tellers is about $17.00 per hour including health insurance.. The market place has adjusted to the current cost of living .. Just saying.

And the local, State, and Federal taxes and the inflation, or lower wages in some cases, caused by insurance, illegals, government subsides and programs? Or due to lower wages due to increased labor supply by women and illegals and immigrants, etc and then bigger bureaucracies to take over functions in the past taken care of my the family or local community?) The market will always adjust; I think the concern, is when government policy, forces it to do so in a bad way. Everything, mostly, will "trickle down" to the consumer- even of government give-aways. Not to say there is not a place for regulation or acceptable costs but?

Look, I'm not going to get into a fight with you about Cruz right now.  That moment has passed.  He had no charm. I admit that. Cruz stood up for constitutional principles. As for spanking,  I see nothing wrong with being paddled every once in a while when a child has done something terribly wrong.  It happened to me albeit rarely and I learned from it.  I'm not a big fan of Fiorina.  Is cruz perfect?  No.  None of us are.
