First off, more scandals are NOT presenting themselves, more completely baseless accusations are presenting themselves.

Not remotely true. You're in an information vacuum.

QuoteSecond, the special prosecutor has no legal authority to add to his own portfolio.  So yeah, it does make him crooked.

Given that Comey did not raid Cohen, please give a specific example of something Comey has done that makes him crooked or unethical.

QuoteThis office occupies a place outside the Constitution, that he is even digging in areas beyond his mandate is unethical.  Even if you don't care about Trump or ethics, consider the precedent and damage to Constitutional law this is doing.

Oh boo-hoo four years of Benghazi.

QuoteBut you don't care - as long as Trump is distracted from implementing the agenda he was elected to do, and maybe even removed, that's what matters, right?  And the signal it sends to any other non-politician thinking of running is another plus, right?  Or anyone else who threatens the swamp.

As far as the swamp, the Democrat Party is the swamp.  Along with the Establishment DC Republicans.  You know, the folks you are siding with.

Oh of course. But the Democrats. Trump is the swampiest swamp monster that has ever crawled from the swamp.

Asking for a friend.

Wasn't it Sasquatch who shot JFK?

Asking for a Chupacabra.

We've heard much about how FaceBook was used by Trump associates to glean information on groups of voters, and how beyond the pale that was.  Does everyone understand that Obama did much the same in 2008 and was praised for his internet / social media awareness?

It amazes me the way the activities of politicians are portrayed, based on Party and how compliant they are to globalism, Big Government, and the swamp

It would help if that were true.

Donnie Tiny Hands removed the alligators from the "swamp", and installed his own brand of sharks. After their feeding frenzy you may have to apply for food stamps. Unfortunately they will no longer exist.

Donnie's next firing should be of his long time "friend" Ghouliani! It is apparent he represents the deep state far more than Donnie.

Yes, Obama returned Iranian assets that were seized.  Which are now being used to fund more terrorism and continue funding destabilization of the region.  Which is why the funds were frozen in the first place, by a president who had our best interests at heart and not Iran's.

And yes, in addition to returning those funds, additional pallets of cash were sent to Iran above and beyond the frozen assets.  Ostensibly to tide them over between the time the ungratified treaty was struck and the time it took to get them fully reintegrated into the world's financial system.  None of which should have happened.

A foolish deal by a foolhardy president and foolhardy Secretary of State.  At best.  Based on what we've seen of these two over their careers, it's more likely intentional treason.

Where the fuck do you get your information from? Serious question. Do you just read stuff written in chalk on pavements or something?

Usually people present evidence in addition to random accusations.  I haven't heard or seen any.  Pretty hard to miss, but somehow the standards seem to differ based along party lines.*

When Clinton and Obama crimes are pointed out, they are pretty specific.

Why should you? You're not doing the investigation.

* Ain't that the truth? The GOP would be outside the WH with pitchforks if it was Obama and not Trump.

Since you appear to be aware of the Iranian assets that were unfrozen and returned, I assume you are referring to the planeloads of cash we sent them from our treasury

If the outlets you get your information from aren't giving you the whole picture, perhaps change is in order.  There were at least three different cash transfers.  $400 million and two totaling $1.3 billion.

He mis typed Comey for Mueller but the point is moot. Neither Mueller (or Comey :) ) is going after Cohen..It's the Southern district of NY, headed up by a Trump appointed AG.. Cohen is in deep doodoos, and his Dear leader has already thrown him under the buss, twice. I wonder if Cohen's wife (Daughter of a Russian mafia boss) is having sleepless nights at the prospect her husband might be facing the chokey and not prepared to sing with a much reduced charge sheet?

Allow me...Fake news.

It was part of the deal (With the UN SC) to NOT do nuclear weapon development. If Trump tears that up, there's nothing to stop them developing nuclear weapons because Trump has broken the US side of the bargain..

Quote
The money was flown into Iran on wooden pallets stacked with Swiss francs, euros and other currencies as the first installment of a $1.7 billion settlement resolving claims at an international tribunal at The Hague over a failed arms deal under the time of the Shah.
A fifth American man was released by Iran separately.

I seem to remember that Reagan via Oliver North did something similar with arms..tied in with setting up FARC in Central America. And that particular debacle didn't end well when the USA stopped sending money to FARC, no problem, they went into kidnapping instead.

It's not fake news when it's something that happened.

And again, as the treaty was never ratified it's illegal for the president to do any of what he did without the approval of Congress.  He can't arbitrarily removes sanctions, he can't arbitrarily unfreeze and return funds, he can't arbitrarily send planeloads of cash to our enemies (or anyone else), and he can't present the un-ratified treaty to the US as a done deal.  Somehow I think if Trump were to do any of this, you'd get it.

Also.  The funds went to the Contras in Nicaragua, not FARC in Columbia.  (Contras = Counterrevolutionaries, right?).  We were supporting the Contras against the Cuban backed thugs who seized the government there, while FARC was a Cuban backed group attacking our ally - the legitimate government of Columbia...  Oh god, never mind, you're as confused as the Anny Kid

Again weird, because when Trump issues Exec orders like confetti you don't have a problem with it...As for removing sanctions; That was the 'deal' that Flynn was trying to do with the Kremlin before his unfortunate incident when he apparently lied to Mike Pence. Pence somehow only found out about Flynn's indiscretions 16 days after everyone else in the WH. After all, he's only the VP! Then we have the Trump Tower meeting about adoptions, I mean procuring shit on Clinton from a foreign entity (Pssst, that's illegal)... Miss Hope Hicks was so sure that little episode could be covered up she later resigned to pursue other opportunities. That seems to be a habit, literally dozens of Trump appointed staff have left the WH since he took office.

There's nothing stopping them now.  They got everything they wanted upfront.  What, exactly, would be the consequences for them if they were developing nuclear weapons in plain sight?

And yet they are developing nuclear weapons.  And ICBMs to deliver them anywhere in the world.  Entire bases are off limits from inspection.  Why is that?  Other development sites must be given weeks of advance notice.  Why is that?  They have two ''side deals'' with the inspectors no one else is privy to.  Why is that?  What kind of ''deal'' has a provision like that?

I think Obama knows full well what is in the two side deals, and it's so bad he didn't want it in the actual agreement.  It's so bad he intentionally made the US not privy to it so it wouldn't even be in our classified records lest another president who isn't a traitor and coward see it.

The correct path here is to either renegotiate it's terms, or failing that to our satisfaction, discard it.  If it is discarded, the next steps are to arrest Obama and Kerry, and tell Iran to stand down on further development of their nuclear and ICBM programs.

Well, again, it's not the use of Executive Orders that is the problem.  They are a legitimate way for a president to set and communicate priorities and set out his interpretation of laws that were left somewhat vague as to specific details (the same way agencies set out regulations, for the same reason).

What Obama did was far different, he abused the EO system to simply create law - and circumvent laws he didn't like - through the use of EOs.  Big difference, but we've been through this already.  If you refuse to understand it, I can't really help you. You're like one of these schmucks who don't go beyond counting how many EOs are issued, and aren't interested in the actual content.

Again, what has Trump done that is illegal or beyond his Constitutional authority?

So you admit to not knowing what you are talking about, but want to lecture us anyway.

The ''upshot'' is we were not going to allow Soviet and Cuban expansionism in our hemisphere.  You want death, misery, and poverty, install that system.  And that's not to mention the security problems associated with destabilizing other governments in the region once the initial countries are seized.

Once more okay? The 'deal' was agreed with the entire UNSC plus Germany, plus the EU.. That's everyone who has any significant vested interest. You're simply wrong on all points.  Hell, just today you found out there were planeloads of cash sent to Iran from Washington DC.  Unfazed, you think that is the only thing you missed.

I was against this deal from the beginning - for the reasons I listed - before Trump had anything to say about it that I was aware of.  You sound just like the Democrats who supported Bill Clinton when he was snookered by the North Koreans.

You know, I think it would help you to at least be aware of viewpoints from various sources other than the fake news progressive media.  They're clearly only feeding you information that fits their agenda.

Well I have news for you, the alleged 'fake news' has been reasonably correct on most counts when it comes to reporting Trump. It isn't really difficult because the brainless twat contradicts himself or his staff pretty much on an hourly/daily basis. Still he does have Sean Hannity as his chief advisor so who knows what he's being fed to tweet later. That Fox then reports on....If the Trump presidency was a screenplay, no-one would commission it because it's too outrageous and unbelievable to be made into a serious movie..Maybe a sitcom.

And yet he's succeeding in foreign and domestic policy, while the well spoken, well mannered Obama was an abject failure across the board.  At least if we're measuring success and failure by what is good for our country and the world in general.

Sure he is...He's successful in pisssing off the US's allies at any given opportunity; sucking up to Putin (Has his political opponents and journalists murdered), and calling the Fat kid in NK 'honourable' (He only starves and executes the population)..

The media don't hamstring Trump. Trump hamstrings Trump. He's his own worst enemy, he simply believes he can do what he likes, when he likes for HIS and his family's benefit. That's it.

Well, we expect our allies to fund NATO at the levels they agreed to.  We would like to be in sync on foreign policy, but that's never been the case on all issues.  That the leadership in Western Europe and elsewhere leaves much to be desired isn't our fault.

I don't see him sucking up to Putin.  He's stood up and opposed him more strongly that Obama ever did.  I think it would be in our benefit to be on as good of terms as practicable, as there are areas of both conflict and joint interest we need to work together on.  If you want an example of how not to deal with him, and get completely played at every juncture, see the Obama presidency and the Hilary Clinton State Department.  I get that you need to believe otherwise for the whole ''collusion'' narrative to make sense though.

Somehow the way he's dealt with NK has gotten them to the table with SK and with us.  That you don't even give him credit for that says much.

And yes, he hamstrings himself.  That doesn't mean the Democrat Fake News Media isn't going all out to do that as well.
