If what you say is true about Pence, that is weird shit. But it could explain his attitude towards women. A kind of revere/loathing mismatch.

It's true, the conversation actually took place when he and his wife Karen were hosting a dinner for Indiana state legislators.  Pence, in many ways, is far scarier than Trump. He's holds some really extreme views.

For example, Pence co-sponsored a bill to redefine rape to “forcible rape,” or what Todd Akin called “legitimate rape,” to further restrict abortion access.

When Pence was governor of Indiana he tried to get a law passed forcing women to have funerals or cremations for aborted or miscarried fetuses and prohibiting tissue use for research. (The law was blocked by a federal judge.)

Donald is going to have the coal mines up and running any day now even though the coal industry has been dying a natural death for years.  In one of the ultimate ironies, a museum dedicated to the coal industry in Kentucky is switching to solar power because it will save them eight to ten thousand dollars a year.

Don't tell Donald's supporters that.  They still think they'll get a job in the coal mines.
