You forgot, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, etc. You're getting lazy! Try to work more brutal dictators into your next post.  ::)

Is 'plutocrat' the word you're struggling with? How many were invited into the fold by Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini?

No, it's just that you're going off script now and throwing plutocrats in with all the brutal dictators you've already and constantly compared Trump to is going to confuse your base and they've lost their minds already.  ;)

Retard, you're doing this again. You've replied to the *wrong post* and are here attempting to counter some point entirely unrelated to the content of the material from me which you have quoted! [my reply you quoted here was regarding a requested short-list of Trump policies!] You're a sick twisted man. I'm now begining to think this is not merely an accident but part of your over-all doing-of-violence-at-a-distance *strategy*. I said befor you were mucking around with thread continuity and I was right.

At any rate your violence continues in the body of your post. You defame, malign, smear, denigrate, misrepresent, unsubstantiated rubbish, mud-slinging, charactor-assassinate twist, half-tell, belittle, accuse, label as unamerican, occultist, nut-job, traitor --- people you know absolutly nothing about, people of substance, achievers, contributors, as away of taking vengence expressing your violent aggression for your humiliation at being a nobody and a nothing. A wee small manlet.
Go fuck yourself -- psych-ward escapee!

You introduced a quote from Henry Wallace regarding fascism earlier in this discussion and you are still yapping about it.  The loss of your short term memory is not my problem.  I know enough about achievers to know that you ain't one of them and to identify you as an embittered old life-long loser.  The only one I see expressing aggression is you.

I have to go to a friend's birthday party so I'll be off line for a while.

Script? Lol.. you think Trump is for the 'common man' when he's filled his swamp with billionaire plutocrats? Is that simpler for you to understand?

Yes.

Good, glad you understand. If you think a plutocrat has any affinity with the common man, you're either chronically deluded, stupid or both. But that is who is in the current WH swamp..the one Ol Don promised he'd drain.  ;D

I guess time will tell, pud. I the meantime I suppose we'll all be subjected to your constant alarmist idiocy.

Hillary may be a lot of things but Fascist is more than "a stretch". What definition of the term are you using to arrive at such an accusation (might I ask)? And is this a part of the standard indoctrinational language and framing among "your people"?

I think you've already answered your own question:

Quote from: Meister_000 on February 26, 2017, 06:27:13 AM
You got two choices to explain your "unknowing": brazen deciet or willfull ignorance -- take your pick.
And of course, the headlines of any newspaper in this country will provide you with your "shortlist", so I needn't waste any more of my time on you.

Quote from: Yorkshire Pud on February 26, 2017, 09:02:33 AM
The Soviet revolution was instigated because of the people rsing up against the royal family and aristocrats, as too was the revolution in France. They were starving and had had enough of seeing their country being run by despots, oblivious to the suffering of the people.

Globalism  isn't a Communist Utopia in any sense at all. Communism (in its purest form) has no elite; No heirachy. Everyone is equal in every way in a societal way. Different people with different skills bringing all to the table for the common good but with no 'us and them'.

The SU never had that; it still had the elite in all the time it existed, as do all 'Communist' countries. They're primarily fascist dictatorships that sell the myth to their masses that they're all equal and in the same boat. The West tells their people that the examples they see prove that Communism is evil because of its evil leaders. And sure, but the examples are not true Communist countries. And so the wheel revolves.

Globalism is the transfer of goods and services to a place or places that will gve a better return on investment by corporations. And to my knowledge, those same corporations are headed by the self same CEO's who fund political parties. They're far from being Communists. Its why 50% of the World's wealth is owned by less than 5% of the population. Here's one bloke who was helping Trump and Farage to play the game. Globalist, but not likely a Communist.

There must be an oppressive government to force this on everyone.  What you are describing goes against human nature and would never be established without grossly oppressive force.  That's what the socialists refuse to understand

Globalism is a series of building blocks to build toward the global nation state.  Business elites for the most part are apolitical and will support whoever will partner with them in their quest for expansion, while those building towards a one-world government will use them to squeeze out the middle class before ultimately seizing those businesses

Quote from: Juan on February 26, 2017, 07:56:05 AM
Soviet socialism (communism) was international. National Socialism was, among other things, rooted in blood and soil. Thus the great division between the two.  Today's globalism is nothing but a communist utopia in new clothes.

The Nazi's had worldwide ambitions just like the Soviets, while Mao's China didn't.

Living under any of these would feel remarkably similarly oppressive.

So far Trump kept every campaign promise he made, and is stacking his cabinet with good people. I voted for the guy, and so far, he's been doing a good job despite the MSN who is almost universally trying to de-legitimize his presidency.

These are distinctions without differences, to someone living under either, they would feel remarkably similarly oppressive.

That would depend who you were. The reason these regimes last such a long time is that a large part of the population are quite happy living under them. We only hear from the minorities and the intellectuals who get squeezed out, the average schmo does OK until the wheels start to fall off.

I agree, just because a person is rich and successful does not make them some evil plutocrat as some suggest.  It probably makes them a serious person, and a good manager.

As opposed to the clown shows we've been getting from ''professional'' politicians.

I spent 6 months in China in 1986.  I can assure you the average schmo wasn't ''doing ok''.

The reason any oppressive dictatorship lasts as long as they do is because they have the guns, the secret police, the ''judicial system'', the prisons, etc.  And aren't afraid to use them.  This is why it is so extremely important to not build a huge government apparatus, and hand over our freedoms to it.  We've gone too far in this direction as it is.

I don't think you have a very good awareness of average life in the Communist Bloc.

Read up on Viktor Belenko, the Soviet fighter pilot that defected to Japan in his Mig-25 in 1976.

Or maybe you think the wheels had fallen off sometime earlier. Like maybe 1917.

That would have been under Deng Xiao Ping, I think, with all his market reforms. People often support repressive regimes by policing themselves, in the way that Russian peasants would talk about 'Uncle Joe' despite Stalin slaughtering millions of his own people. People often imprison themselves, that's why I find all the blather from Trump so disturbing. I don't know if you're familiar with a book called 'The Captive Mind' by Czezlow Milosz, but that shows that the problem has far more to do with ourselves than the state. Unchecked corporations can do plenty of damage, and you'd still need a state with sharp enough teeth to keep them in check.

No. Hillary was the fascist this election. That's what you still don't seem to get. Look into it. Seriously! ;)

Exactly... Donald and Bannon are the Anti-Fascists.

It's amazing , the insidious lies that the Dems and their minions feed themselves with.

Donald is the real deal, and it scares the Hell out of the Left and the Fake Right.

Donald IS going to make America Great Again, and, let the chips fall where they may!

You're confused, as usual. It was FDR that called him uncle Joe, not the Russian people.  ::) :D

Even more amazing is how they all continued to lie about the fact that they rigged the election against Bernie and for Hillary during their recent conference to elect a new DNC leader.  ::)

It was a common expression, you berk. You typed 'Uncle Joe' and then saw Roosevelt as a suggestion.

Busted, you know-nothing cunt.

I don't think so but you can look it up to be sure. If it was said that the Russian people referred to him as "uncle Joe" it was pure propaganda. They were pretty good at that, you know.  ;)

I'm not saying life was good, or even tolerable, for most people. I'm saying that  many people just fall into line despite having massive superiority of numbers. There's something by Condorcet where he talks about it but I'm too tired to search for it right now.

It's a pity Herr Trump couldn't find a place for the common man in his cabinet then, rather than the bunch of plutocrats you ended up with. As ancien regimes go, Louis XVI's nothing compared to Trump.

Hmm. Gives me an idea of how this may end

Who says they're outraged? The 'fake' press? Or some hipster wanker on yt? I think they're more likely unsurprised but disappointed that the manchild can't take a night off from needing unequivocal devotion and instead take a couple of hours being human and be self effacing and have a joke.

There's more chance of Everest being reduced to sand.
