Isn't that good enough for you?

As PB said, this was a brilliant success. L'il Kim said he was committed to bringing peace to the world. And Trump's record for fair dealing speaks for itself. PB knows what he's talking about. All those people who read that document and see it as a flimsy piece of nonsense they cooked up because they got nothing substantive done are, frankly, anti-American trash who ought to be shot. Starting with you.

Well, I did enjoy the Wedding and Trooping the Colour. But could be worse.  At least I'm not drinking vodka, poisoning people in the park and rigging elections

... As PB said, this was a brilliant success...

Is that really what PB said?

Seems like a fair question to me. Isn't that what "denuclearization" is all about?

Yes, it was a very fair question.  Something we all would like to have the answer to.

Let me ask you this:  Do you think he expected to get a response?  Do you think he didn't know that wasn't going to be decided today? Do you think he was asking a ''fair question'', or do you think he was working his schtick?  Do you think US reporters should act out on a foreign stage the way they do at presidential press conferences here, or would you prefer they act with a bit of dignity?

SredniVashtar

You've got to admit this was a great success. Kim gets his face on media all over the world, further propping up his kleptocratic regime. Even the dumbest N Korean knows now that Trump treats his enemies much better than his friends so they'll do all they can to weasel out of any commitments, not that there were any. Nukes are the only thing you need to be taken seriously by Trump, so I imagine all the pissant countries in the world will be trying their hardest to enrich uranium now.

But don't you point this out because it just shows how fake you are and it makes PB very cross. These right-wingers can't help themselves, they love to abase themselves before power, no matter how phoney and corrupt.

I just gave it to you. The sanctions weren’t even enforced until Trump took office. I won’t engage you further on this. Take it up with PB. I have a headache.

She has enough to absorb for one day

No, reporters aren't there to be dignified. They are there to ask questions and piss people off.

Yes, anyone thinking about overthrowing him will think twice now that he's been on TV

With ''friends'' like the EU globalists, who needs enemies.

You do realize dealing with trading partners used to routinely cheating us on trade agreements is different from dealing with true enemies developing nuclear weapons pointed at us, right?  Or are you like Pud, who believe in treating every nation the same, regardless

Well, after Obama greenlighted Iran's nuclear weapon and ICBM projects, the Saudis, Egypt, and Turkey got very nervous, and began looking at their own situation regarding nuclear weaponry.  At least Trump is trying to reduce them, instead of exacerbating the problem.

If they are going to ask a question in a setting where they would expect to get an answer, instead of acting like their usual buffoon selves

It's sure strange that you know all about what Trump's motives were, what they were talking about, how it all would work out, yet aren't sure what the CNN moron was trying to do.

Anyway, it's up to Singapore to decide what they are willing to put up with.  It appears they prudently kept the fools at a proper distance.

I'm just ticking off my right-wing bingo card. I got a 'but, Hillary' (OK, Obama, close enough) and 'globalists' too. Keep going, I want to win that food processor.

Trump just handed Kim legitimacy in exchange for nothing. He can use that photo op to present himself as a serious world leader now. Don't misunderestimate (!) how important that can be to a country low on food and information.

Trump just showed everyone that he will funk every tough decision that comes his way. I believe you have a trade surplus with Canada yet Trump can't stop himself punching down for points from his base. Yet, put him in a game where there are real stakes and he blusters and temporises. If you can't see that that agreement is the kind of diplomatic verbiage they put out when they get nothing then I question your ability to understand anything.

Of course I didn't expect an answer. But it's the salient point, it's what the whole summit was about. If you're happy to let them present a failure as a success that says a lot about you. The fact that they can't give that question a straight answer underlines the fact that it was a waste of time for the US and a win for Kim.

Here's the full text of the agreement

https://www.vox.com/2018/6/12/17452532/trump-kim-document-agreement-full-text-denuclearization-read

Summary:

the agreement consists of four major points:

The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new US-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity. [DPRK stands for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the formal name of North Korea.]

The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.

Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work towards the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.

Why is it of such great interest that they remain a nuclear power to you guys? Were they supposed to threaten the rest of the world with an attack until you got your way or something?! ???

Phony and corrupt?! You mean like constantly claiming that NK is a rogue state while working their levers of power the whole time? :D

Let me guess, something to do with George Soros, the Deep State and the Friars Club.

Yeah, that's it! Keep pretending the whole NK situation is just as your corporate masters say it is and not all just a big farce put on for a show for the rest of us. This naivety is really unbecoming from someone from such an "educated" nation as yours. ::)

MD's triggered again. The usual blend of half-hearted abuse and pathetic attempts at providing 'evidence'. Oh, and dicks. We know how he loves dicks.

I just showed you pictures of it but you wouldn't accept any evidence anyway. You've drunk the Koolaid. ::)

It's adorable that you think you can still gaslight people on this, it really is. :D

'Gaslight'. Another one to tick off on my bingo card.

That pic sums you up. It's all you need to build your little theories. Why can't I show a pic of Trump shaking hands with Putin and use it as evidence of collusion? Because I'm not a wanker.

You are a wanker and I'm sure you've already tried it. All your smarm and bluster can't cover over the truth this time. OK, now make fun of the very notion of truth to begin with. Go on! Tell us all how Obama and Hillary were making the world a better place. :D

What truth would you be referring to? The stuff that spews from AJ's speech hole? The only truth you want to hear is stuff you already believe. Once you have an idea in your head everything is shaped to fit your narrative.

You're just jealous because your guy or gal wasn't able to bring the two sides together.  Trump outflanked you by using peace through strength.

Kim basically bust a nut over Trump's face. If that's winning I'd hate to see what losing looked like.

Speaking of propping, up regimes.  Last time I checked it was the left propping up regimes in Iran with that fake deal. But I got it though, it is good if the left props up a regime but bad if the right does the same thing.  I'll go with the right since we did not have to give North Korea a single dime.
