So, tell me. What would constitute a successful summit? Tell me quick before Trump tells you what to say

1) a no dog eating agreement
2) DMZ remains but as like a national park. Rare animals and plants are thriving there, oddly
3) Demand on China- no more "Oriental Medicine" trade that encourages poaching and bad radio hosts.
4) Denuclearization
5) Mandatory barber/hair-stylist training for both countries (this a 'concession' to the Brits who give commendations, or whatever they call them,  to hair-stylists, look it up. True. And both need some.)
6) no more Samung spying or N.Korean counterfeit currency and drugs.
7) just for the heck of it, and as a throw-back, official negotiations will be done in French.

For a start....

The "summit" is enough to bring me out of retirement. This is a farce. No one but Trump, Kim and two interpreters. Not one security, diplomatic expert/adviser.They will both come out telling any lies they want. This is nothing but a photo op with a lot of crowing and preening and lies to follow

We're still waiting for you to name Obama's foreign policy accomplishments.  Heck, let's make it easier, name something he didn't fuck up and worsen.

... Are they happy? Of course not. Because for the worthless demokkkrat party and their pathetic lemmings, control is all that matters...

No, no, they're for the working class.  Really, they are.  They always say so.  Didn't some of them confess that the party had gotten way off track in catering to the America haters, that they understood why they lost the election (and the House, and the Senate, and all those governorships, and all those state legislative seats during Obama's term...), and were going to address it for the 2018 elections.

Didn't they say that?  Didn't they say they were going to work to do all the things Trump actually came in and did?  Yet here they are opposing it every step of the way, and lying about it.

Maybe we can ask Tiger Lily what happened with all that before she leaves

You still don't seem to get that Obama, or whatever name he is using now, was great and many goals and promises met. Just they were anti-American, anti-Western, pro-Muslim, and very racial, ethnic, gender, and 'class' devisive ones. He was, looking at it from a foreign,, Muslim, Russian, Chinese, Cartel, or Leftist prespective possibly the 'best' President ever!!

2) DMZ remains but as like a national park. Rare animals and plants are thriving there, oddly
maybe not so odd ...

3) Demand on China- no more "Oriental Medicine" trade that encourages poaching and bad radio hosts.   Totally. On both counts
4) Denuclearization see 4A below
5) Mandatory barber/hair-stylist training for both countries (this a 'concession' to the Brits who give commendations, or whatever they call them,  to hair-stylists, look it up. True. And both need some.) what if in the name of peaceful coexistence Trump wears Kim's hair and vice versa?
6) no more Samung spying or N.Korean counterfeit currency and drugs. yeah, good start. But as a show of good faith, do you think we can also stop the Chinese spy phone factory?
7) just for the heck of it, and as a throw-back, official negotiations will be done in French. ooh là là! Naturellement!
8. N.K. takes Rodman. Permanently

4a. Do you want Kim to keep what he has? Do you want dismantling and stop any future nukes? What about continuing to build ICBM's? On site inspectors from IAEA?

For a start....

You came back to proclaim your ignorance.  Good for you.  You've really bought into the narrative that Trump is a dumb guy, haven't you.

Let me help you out, since the only thing you pay attention to are people lying to you in an attempt to regain power.  Trump is attempting to begin historic talks that may - may - result in ending the hostility between North Korea and South Korea, and offer future trade and investment to vastly improve the country and the lives of the impoverished North Koreans, in exchange for reducing their nuclear threat, and possibly their conventional artillery arsenal pointed at Seoul.  It's similar to what Nixon did with China.

This is not a foolish, immature president like Bill Clinton, who gave them cash, aid, and technology for ''peaceful'' nuclear energy program in exchange for future promises they didn't keep.  This is not a foolish, cowardly president like Berock Obama, who gave Iran planeloads of cash, access to world financial markets, paid ransom for hostages, and removed sanctions - all for future promises they didn't keep.

The North Koreans are going to get little to nothing upfront, maybe something as a goodwill gesture, but that's it.  If they don't agree to reduce tensions, reduce certain weapons over time, then we walk away.  And it's a one-time offer, at least with this president.  At least that's the threat for now to induce them to treat this seriously.  To convince them they are not dealing with an easily played Clinton or Obama.  It's nice to finally have a president who knows how to deal with people like this again.

What is your solution?  Do nothing?  Do what Clinton and Obama did?  Don't you think a person who supported Bill Clinton and Berock Obama should keep quiet and try to learn something, instead of lecturing the people who were right about them and their reckless, dangerous deals in the first place?

The arrogance of these ass-wipe Libs is breathtaking.  It isn't enough for the idiots they supported to rack up failure after failure - they still know it all.

We went through all this every step of the way with Reagan.  Oh how the media and the Libs hated him.  Why?  Because he was successful in getting things done that greatly benefitted the country, and the opposition party saw that as them losing - so they opposed all of it.  It's disgusting.  Pathetic.

According to reports there are, or were, some dogs left in NK. He fed some uncle or general, or both, to them. NK devolving into Mexico. You saw the latest, I presume, the sorta good guy (but really who knows) running shot twice in head because he stabilized, somewhat, Piedras Negras
(dont qoute me forget the 'plaza') but he was talking about Zetas etc. Many politicians have been killed. And many others. There is a group, who tries to talk about "femincide" because so many women are killed in the great country across the open border.

At least there was a straight answer in there somewhere

Yes, they should let the fake reporters at CNN/ABC/NBC/CBS/NYT/WP/LAT etc sit in and think of ways to sabotage the summit with lies, spin, and personal attacks.

Why would Trump need various aides?  He's been working on this for weeks, and should be as informed on the broad issues as anyone else.  Summits are usually based on what's been worked out leading up to them, the leaders discuss things at a high level, and leave the details to be ironed out before of after.

You really aren't aware of this?

This is just more attacks from Democrats, or in this case from someone programmed by talking head Democrats on TV, worried Trump is going to do something good for the country and get credit for it.

I forgot about the elite dogs that eat the North Koreans instead of the other way around. My bad

Yeah. Not fun stuff to know. Mexican level stuff going on but more controlled. The weird thing is you get some 'arguments' from some who think accept and the fight against sex trafficking,  drugs, commies, dictators, Muslims, cartels, slavery, etc is bad. And counter ones who say you shouldn't because culture or cause worse harm to victims and not understanding culture.

Yeah, but Trump's the oaf.  He's the one with no manners, no nuance, no sense of self control.  He's the loose cannon, who is only there for self aggrandizement.

For the people who watch CNN, are you proud of this?  Do you think this is different from what they regularly accuse Trump of, while pretending they're the ones who should be lecturing everyone else on how to conduct themselves?

Do you get why no one but the most easily led of dupes watches CNN anymore?

If it makes Dennis Rodman cry.

Just a little reminder for you history buffs and to put some perspective on this historic agreement:

In 1992 NK signs an agreement to not develop nukes and lets IAEA inspectors in (Bush I)

In 1994, NK threatened to withdraw from the NPT. U.S. (Clinton) offered some aid to NK if they froze their weapons grade plutonium development.  This  signed agreement lasted until 2003.

In 2003 NK declared they were withdrawing from NPT and kicked out the inspectors.

2005 NK and five other countries, including US (Bush II) signed an agreement for NK to abandon a nukes program

Although an agreement was signed, no agreement was ever made for inspection and verification. In 2009 NK announced they were not going to continue talks and wasn't required to hold to that signed agreement.

In 2018 NK and US (Trump) sign an agreement ...

So far the only thing new is a photo op

Seems like a fair question to me. Isn't that what "denuclearization" is all about?

You forgot: 2009 Iran tells NK that Obama won’t react to proliferation because Iran will benefit from advanced missiles and nuclear technology. They know this because Valerie Jarret is Obama’s chief of staff. 2016: John Kerry (in French) tells NK not to worry because Hillary Clinton will be elected President and will continue Obama’s policy of allowing Iran to share in NK’s nuclear programs.

TigerLily

North Korea has been under strangulating sanctions for years. His people are literally starving to death. What little money NK had went to build his nukes and missiles. He has his nukes and ICBMs.  NK is now a nuclear power. Kim fears a military coup. He needs to feed his people and get some aid and imports/exports to help strengthen his position at home  Of course he will agree to anything. For now

I just gave it to you. The sanctions weren’t even enforced until Trump took office. I won’t engage you further on this. Take it up with PB. I have a headache.

Kim has a very limited understanding of English, so whether he comprehended the question is debatable. It certainly looked like he didn't get what the reporter asked.   Speaking of CNN, I noticed that they were running commercials when the ceremonial doors were opened.

Isn't that good enough for you?

As PB said, this was a brilliant success. L'il Kim said he was committed to bringing peace to the world. And Trump's record for fair dealing speaks for itself. PB knows what he's talking about. All those people who read that document and see it as a flimsy piece of nonsense they cooked up because they got nothing substantive done are, frankly, anti-American trash who ought to be shot. Starting with you.
