- chaos inside the administration “unmanned insiders”
- collusion to rig the election “unmanned expert insiders”
- Trump/Russia collusion “147 national security agency’s unnamed insiders expert professionals”
- Trump is a rascist, sexist, homophobe “unnamed and named bell gab lemmings and experts on “the view”

All speculation. Never any evidence. Never any named experts. Just left wing media people interviewing Other left wing media people who are citing unnamed sources quoting unnamed experts.

Due process can mean many things.  If he had been a legal gun holder in NYC, the weapons would have been taken for safe keeping pending an investigation after the cops were dispatched for the first domestic dispute.

Court orders to remove weapons from an individual’s possession pending an assessment of the individual’s mental state are issued all the time.  In Florida there is also the Baker Act which permits competent authority to committ people exhibiting signs of mental instability to a locked ward for physchiatric evaluation for up to 7 days to determine whether they are a threat to themselves or others.  They then must be released or ordered by a court to long term care or be charged or arrested if they broke the law.  The Baker Act could have been envoked in Cruz’s case on the basis of the relatives report. 

Remove the guns or remove the individual.  In either case the individual is afforded due process and no one gets shot.
