BDSM gear has new facets everyday it seems..

Apparently, so I once heard someone tell me, who had overheard it.

Tell that one to my friend whose brother has Chron's Disease--I'm kind of irritated with her these days, it's a syndrome.

I usually don't indulge in baseless theorizing, but oh boy, oh boy, have I got a theory about this guy:

This is not the face of an innocent man.

I'm going to make a wild guess that it somehow involves Jewish illuminati reptilian banker types along with some CIA, NSA, and FBI thrown in there somewhere.

She actually has a really good voice for ballads. She did one with Tony Bennett which was surprisingly good. I like her early work, and some of the later, but not everything and she's in danger of being upstaged now by Miley Cyrus and her blow up dicks.

It's sad that contemporary pop stars use controversy and provocative images/behaviors to be successful. Talent and class are only minor qualifications in the fame equation. Riding a giant blowup dick or crazy costumes made of foil = success!

I'm a grumpy old man, Git off my lawn you sum-bitchen' kids!

Holy crap! I just realized the Prince of Wales on Black Adder the Third is Hugh Laurie! I thought he looked familiar, but couldn't place him.

It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all, but it is two times as good to have loved twice.

you might enjoy Laurie as Bertie Wooster with Stephen Fry as his valet Jeeves... silly Brit stuff  ;)

Or in your case twice at once, or thrice, or whatever....

One of the dogs is going back to her owner tomorrow and I am really bummed out about it. I've got her bags all packed with her favorite bones, a weeks worth of food, and I baked her some bleu cheese biscuits. I thought I was looking forward to downsizing the pack. It may be stupid, but I'm glad she got to spend Mother's Day with her pups today. They had a good day together, lounging in the sun on the deck and hanging out with me in the yard.

I usually don't find Stephen Fry very funny or entertaining. But the series he did, years ago, where he traveled across America in a old British style taxi, was strangely appealing and entertaining for some reason.  :)

Because I'm such a wonderful husband, I made my wife and kids drive with me on a five hour round trip to go pick up a riding lawn mower today, Mother's Day.   I had arranged the meeting on Friday, and I was supposed to get to this guy's house about noon.  He was to be at work by 2pm, so it had to be done before then.   Because I had to rent a trailer to pick it up, and I was only allotted a 6 hour window by uhaul, we left early and made good time, arriving at 11am.  When I drove up to the house there was a big box van in the driveway, the lawn mower was off to the side, and there was a car parked in front of the house with some guy in it.   I parked my vehicle, got out and went up to the house - a nice new two story house in a new neighborhood.   Apparently this guy didn't need it anymore because its one of those neighborhoods where houses are just stacked next to each other and it was clear the yard was too small for a riding mower.   Anyway, the front door was open and I could see right down the hall into the living room.   I rang the doorbell and called out "Hello??"  No one answered.   In a couple seconds, the next door neighbor opened his door and said to me "Hey, his brother is in the white car parked in front of the house."   Uhm, okay, I thought.   So I walked up to the car and said brother rolled down the window.  I asked him, "Hey, am I supposed to talk to you about this lawn mower or something?"  And he said "What lawn mower?"  I said "That one that's parked over on the side of the house, I'm here to pick it up like I arranged with your brother."    He said to me "Can you come back in a couple of days?"   I was kind of upset with this because I just drove a couple of hours to get there and had to rent the trailer and all - this wasn't going to be an easy request to fill.   I said "Well, I'm from such and such a couple hours away" and he said "My brother committed suicide last night."   I went over to tell my wife, and as I am telling her what this guy just told me, some guys dressed in tyvek outfits came out carrying medical waste bins.    True story.   So Happy Mother's Day.
