Free Slurpee Day!

Today also happens to be mojito day. A personal favorite of mine is the Tommy Bahama watermelon mojito. A fantastic beach drink for a hot day!

However, I doubt you`ll find many places that are offering them on a complimentary basis.

Apparently we've fallen to number 2 as the worlds fattest people.  The UN Food and Agriculture Organization has reported that Mexico now has an adult obesity rate of 32.8%, outclassing the US rate of 31.8%.

They put the blame on the availability of Coca-Cola, fast food outlets, and processed foods.

i've just been made aware of something that will make all (or most) of you very happy.

Great news. That beats free slurpees any day.

the bidet is a bit redundant with tommy being there... but then again, letting tommy know he can be replaced...

Air dry your undies and the elastic waists will stay nice and snappy, too.... :P

I'm tent camping a few hundred yards from the Pacific ocean, having a glass of cabernet, while listening to Jim Harold's Campfire podcast around my campfire.  Sometimes technology is really great.  8)

I'm 571 feet from the Atlantic(thanks insurance adjusters for the exact number, so flood coverage is extra)...while a house party of Jersey Shore aspirant imbeciles blares moron music at high decibels behind my house. The kicker? The party's host is the daughter of a cop.

I wish that technology would be a smart bomb placed down a chimney about 30 feet from where I'm currently sitting.

            * And a skunk just sprayed...

Having grown up in southern California, I can't stand crowded beaches where when you turn your head you see a bunch of cars and/or businesses.  I much prefer rugged, wild coastlines.  Are you glued to the Boston area, Eddie?  Maybe it's time to move to the quiet coast of Maine.

Loved your post, HorrorRetro!

i always wondered if pulp fiction would become a pile of shit when recut in chronological order.  looks like someone has taken the time to do it, and you can download the results here using your bittorrent client.  i haven't watched it yet, but i did take a quick peek to judge the quality.  it's ok.

Trying to figure out the chronology of PF was what kept everyone form realizing what a self-indulgent pile of shit Tarantino had wrought. The Knoxville Chin has never been bashful about delivering a great big bunch of Emperor's New Clothes to anyone who would say they saw them. The greatest accomplishment of the Q? Famously expounding on the "Gay Top Gun" theory in a cameo in the otherwise quite forgettable 1994 film Sleep With Me.

Funny, and an infinitely better acting performance than the Q offered in his own film.

I always cringe in the "dead nigger storage" scene because of Quentin's awful acting. It's just so over acted.

Can you believe Microsoft spends about 10 billion dollars annually on research and development? I was absolutely astonished when I read that.

Think about that though. 10 billion dollars. That's an insane amount of money, and its being spent by just one company. We throw these numbers around... a billion dollars this, a billion dollars that... and we lose sight of just how much money a billion dollars really is. It's a CRAZY amount of money.... and Microsoft gets next to nothing for it.
