yeah i tried the audio downloads a couple years ago.  they're all inactive.  'tis a shame.  stupid copyright laws.  remember when the internet was fun?

Max

I have all the audio for the site at a secret location... pm me for details.

It is fun to see the old website.  Is Keith Rowland involved with the C2C website?  Funny to think that Keith Rowland was just another listener when he started the artbell.com website.

Max

as I said pm me for info on seeing the old site..

i believe keith owns artbell.net and sells the artbell.com website cds as well.  however, according to max who owns one, it leaves a lot to be desired.

The layout before this one looked even worse. it was right around 1996. it was completely grey with a bunch HR tags (horizontal rule) and images scattered here and there.  those were were they days...

heh, yeah, i remember that site.  there was, however, a lot of good free content on that site which made it nice.  remember back when the internet was fun?

seems like all websites looked like ass back in those days.  remember how it seemed like almost everybody was using scrolling frames on their site?  i FUCKING HATED that.  god i'm glad people stopped using frames.

these days, the only people who still have websites that look like that are the people who appear on c2c as guests.  heh.

HAHAHA! you noticed that too eh?
i think one of the worst would have to be albert taylor's (soul traveler) site.  gotta love the animated gifs.  very aol circa 1996.

Max

well I still got the old site in hiding at a private location...

...in russia.... france... and with the italian mob....

The last show that Art hosted was in May 2008 I believe and he stated that there would be a 'change' made to artbell.com within 2 months.  By July artbell.com seems to have dropped out of DNS.  Art did not describe what would happen with his domain name.  Does anyone have an idea?

Max

I'll have to email him privately and ask him

Seeing the old Art Bell site again is great.  I noticed that some of the old photos on the site are still available.

QuoteRambo made this one: I took this photograph about 15 years ago. I was watching TV one night when the RF signal suddenly disappeared and the screen burst into snow and white noise poured forth from the speaker. What happened next is in the photo. I didn't believe my own eyes so I ran and got my camera. This never happened before or since. I no longer own this TV set
