They can't help crowing, when they should be hiding their heads in shame for what they have done to this country!  Lulling good hard-working Americans into complacency by size creep, which I have posted about before where your cheapo jeans say 32 but now they really measure 34, and it gets worse going up where a 36 is really 42.  You can easily pack on 50 lbs blissfully unaware!  Meanwhile good honest designer jeans will remind you every time you sneak an extra cookie.  And just to ease the signs of this literal inflationary pressure, they will gladly provide wheeled vehicles so you don't have to huff and puff and trundle your bulk down their massive aisles -- no goose being fattened for his liver was ever suckered so baldly.

Not to mention selling XXLs and above -- how does someone breach the XL barrier without crying out in shame?  XL clothes should be sold in discreet stores with blacked-out windows and a strict no-talking policy, and anyone needing larger should be content with a hefty bag or a pup tent with a hole cut in the roof until they shrink out of pure mortification.
