EvB

I want a pair of these -- but my house is to drafty and I don;t think i can make them little sweaters

Birds are incredible. You are smart to want a pair. Nothing is more sad than a solo bird. They die of grief, especially if you don't spend time with them! You would be a great bird owner because you listen to radio and you are a mother! Great combo :) I would check the shelter first.... so many birds are lonely and sad in shelters. They aren't as well taken care of in shelters....

Birds are awesome!! You have some great ones where you live. EvB you have to get yourself a pair. You will love them :)

Also remember to only buy shade grown coffee. It doesn't kill birds! Also don't use pesticides and weed killers - they also kill birds. Sanka very much.

I understand your enthusiasm - but i think you missed the part where I said that 1) I won the world's most evil cat and 2) keeping a stable temp in my home is really hard.  Now, as an old New England broad, *I* don't mind - but I fear these little lovelies would.  I know you can heat-lamp them - but then how do the poor dears SLEEP?!

I caught the part about the draft.... that is sometimes "fixable". But the cat.... no. Honestly, "exotic" birds shouldn't be where we live anyway. It's too cold most of the year and birds totally "get it" in that they know they are out of place. It bothers them greatly.

Drafty house you say? Might I suggest a solution to your problem?

Frys Girl

I love it! Thank you. Also dig the new quote.

Penguins! Fuck yeah! I always wanted a penguin for a pet after I saw Pen Pen from Evangelion.

He even gets beer out of the fridge!

And anime aside, there's actually a *real* pet penguin a family has in Japan that goes out every day for them to pick up fish at the store. He has a little backpack with the money and everything, and the penguin and the shop owner know the drill. SO AWESOME.  ;D

Birds suck.  They are noisy and their little turds could kill an elephant.

i agree.  i think they're worthless as pets and i could never understand why someone would want to own one.

I actually think birds are better in the wild, but the birds I had rescued could not be released. They're more fun than you think. I don't like to have cats, but I'm not gonna knock them! Here's a video for you mean-hearted bird haters.

Was that necessary? I was trying to enjoy a grumpy mood.
