Critical Omissions with Douglas Dietrich

Hey Gunner, you earlier posted that the Ki-67 weighed 19,000 lbs empty and had a gross takeoff weight of 30,000 leaving 11,000 lbs of payload. Remember, that payload included the weight of the fuel and crew members and every other thing needed. One article I looked up said the bomb load was about 2,300 lbs. Not exactly a block buster load.

There were little Tom Thumb people running around New Zealand that made people - quote  retarded unquote.

This is classic Dietrich tonight.

I would agree with that perception.  It is, after all, an extension of a work of fiction in the 1950's.  You can watch it for free here:

You have to play a bit of tag with redirections etc at first, but after that, the movie will play.

I agree, but that was me quoting Dietrich.  I think I posted those in italics too.  What I was attempting to show was that although Dietrich may have correct nomenclature for some of the aircraft, he definitely lies about ranges specifically, and operational uses later in the war.

And you are correct about maximum weight to include the crew, fuel, and armamament including defensive weapons such as cannons and machine guns.

So now the Tom Thumb people were disappearing blimp pilots?  It is a true story but I am fairly confident that Tom Thumb was not involved.

Sorry WAN, I was writing - did he say something about Liliput?

Yeah, I knew those were ddd's words. Sorry about that, I should have put the question differently.

No Lliput - he is off on Atlantis, Lemuria and Mu.  The lost continents.  At least I have heard of them before.   Scads of flying, nasty Tom Thumbs in the clouds?  That is new information to me.

Pelayo

Speaking of Mu. Hey ddd, you look fat wearing that mu-mu.

I was busy and crunched for time when I put a couple of debunkings together this week.  The claims Dietrich is making about the Japanese military capability are just bizarre.  3 B-25 size planes on each Japanese "aircraft carrier" I-400 class subs prowling the Atlantic and Caribbean until 1951?  I don't think so!

How the fuck would they even take off?

Nice.  See if you can fit in research on this Troll vs Mermaid race war.   It sounds tragic.   ::)

I'm assuming he asserts they had pontoons, which would add even more weight. Hell, Doolittle's planes barely made it off the flight deck much less fighting against the resistance of water against the pontoons.

So how do the Trolls in the forests of Norway get at the Mermaids in the South Seas?   We may need K_Dubb to weigh in.

Pelayo

No ddd, the japs are the racists and their war was a race war of extermination against whites and since there are still plenty of whites is proof the good ol' USA won the war! USA! USA! USA!

Don't be absurd.  He is cultivating his Heroin Chic look:

Pelayo

I think they should make Tom Cruise the emperor of japan.

Gunner65

Are those 3-inch platform sole combat boots?

He is such a maniac, he has wide swings from one thing to another. One month he is a street waif heroin addict, the next a sluggish housewife who lays about watching soap opera and eating bon-bons.

Gunner65

And the next: a "highly paid assassin" disguised as a woman who suddenly goes to a foreign country to kill some people.

Why yes they are.   Standard issue for the troops down at Studio 54:

I wonder if this retarded girl has read or watched "Animal Farm"

Talking to the animals?    Doc Doolittle?

Yeah, but I don't think ddd realizes he is no longer a sexpot (that is if he ever was one). He'd have to dress up as a babushka now.

Gunner65

Hey WAN, this retarded chick is too young to remember the good stuff from the 70's!

Pelayo

Kimba had to be cancelled because he was white.
