Hey Gunner, how many of those blue crabs would it take to fill you up? The last time I bought them was up in Seattle (most likely flown in) and as I remember, they weren't all that expensive.

We have had a lot of rain. Only a day or two really to work outside and get shit done. Still 40-50 degrees but slowly getting warmer. I got my truck inspected after having a new exhaust installed last week. It was warm today so I washed and waxed the truck - got all the winter salt and mud off of her and cleaned the interior. She looks good.

I have parts coming in for the JD mower (LA120) tomorrow. A maintenance kit and new blades. The order was delayed a week due to "the virus".

I bet I could handle a half dozen easily! And yes, there are places in Maryland etc that you can order them shipped. They should be in season soon!

I went shopping at Alberston's today and they had cooked Dungeness crab for $12.95 a pound. About 18 years ago I would either pick up or deliver at this place outside of Ferndale, Wa and I could buy LIVE Dungeness crab for $1.75 a pound. No lie!

Dungeness are usually "leggers" anyway. And yes, the prices are extreme. And everything will become extreme in a matter of weeks! Even pork and chicken are climbing to over 4 dollars a pound! In the 70's and 80's we were buying blue crab and Lobster for that! I have not been to a large grocery store in a year or so.

Surprisingly, Dungeness have quite a bit of body meet along with the legs and claws. The only thing on a red rock crab worth eating is the claws and maybe a little bit of meat in the legs if you catch a really big one.

Crabs: I grew up knowing Blue Crab (softshell types) etc. covered in Old Bay or Cajun seasoning and steamed! Then I see monster crabs on Diego Garcia walking all over the Island - we used to run over them with our jeeps!

I used to think Moon was questioning Dietrich, not anymore. I think Moon is just wanting to finish a book about Dietrich by the end of May so they can sell the book in Mount Shasta in June.

Maybe, but it is more than that. Moon wants to introduce Dietrich and a controversy to get attention. I have given Moon a lot of time and lee-way on this and hoped he would fact-check Dietrich. This has not happened.
