Regarding the photos in question, again, ALL of the elements that speak against the possibility that Meier was equipped, prepared and had access to a US broadcast, etc., must be taken into consideration. As well as the fact that his camera had a broken mechanism with the setting stuck at infoinity, which made for great photos of the craft join the sky but also wouldn't have served well for a perfect close-up join a screen, etc.

As previously mentioned, thinking through ALL of the factors is required...but only if one wants to know the truth and not just spin their wheels trying to "prove" dishonesty, which the second video, shot a week ago, just happens to explain as well.

...because it would have been completely impossible for him to have simply used a different camera.

I successfully photographed my TV screen, back then and I was just a child.

Exceptional claims, etc. You'll have to do better, little man.

MichaelHorn

Please present your photographic evidence, there's no reason to take your word for anything, obviously. Did you randomly photograph a TV show, when was "back then", did you use a tripod, center it on the screen, have a reason for doing so, etc., etc.

For those who are sincerely interested in the matter at hand, it's pathetic comments like these that show that's there's no shortage of people deeply in denial, cynicism and invested in trying to "prove" someone wrong...rather than find the truth and actually learn something.

I rarely respond to either this guy or similar people because, frankly, they're not intelligent enough to deal with and so arguing isn't necessary. But posing such questions as these is simply fair and logical. Here we have unsubstantiated claims by anonymous person, the kind of person who'll be glad to try to attack...you with their envious stupidity if they see an opportunity because, let's face it, they're bored, unproductive and quite failed even as a legitimate skeptic.

The distinguishing feature also in his failed attempt to assert himself is that he's - by his own description - merely a...boy who also forgets that being a real man isn't about how tall one is. And no, I wouldn't trust this BellBoy with my luggage, I'll carry it myself.

Maybe the aliens liked watching the Dean Martin Show and just wanted to show BM their taste in entertainment?

coaster

So after fraud meier was called out on the Dean Martin singers, he said the "men in black" changed the photos and that the aliens had body doubles in America. That fraud knows how to cover all the bases doesn't he. Haha.
So, lets think about this for a second and see which one is more likely.  1. There are alien lounge singers with body doubles who are in cahoots with the men in black. Or 2. Billy Meier is a bored man with too much time on his hands.
Edit. Hand. Too much time on his hand. Cause, well you know.

MichaelHorn

Usually the most useful thing one does with a coaster is put something on top of it to prevent...stains. Another suggestion would be to put a...lid on it, once it's so saturated with stains that's it's functionally useless.

There's tons more of course and my website and blog have, and are linked to, even more information.

Did that help?

Thank you! do you have a youtube channel or podcast?  you should totally ask to be a co-host on The Gabcast.

All of this stuff is a bit like David Hume's dismissal of miracles. What was more likely,  he said, that the known laws of the universe have been temporarily suspended in your favour, or you are under a misapprehension? In this case, what is more likely, that we believe in the existence of flying trash cans, or we assume that a one-armed Swiss goat-fondler is taking the piss?

MichaelHorn

mudking,

Yes, here's the channel:

Plus there's tons of other interviews, etc., online, with three new ones from the UK coming, starting today.

You'll probably notice that there's an absence of intellectually curious people on this forum and an abundance of self-satisfied intellectual masturbators, whose reach and impact in and on the world is...nil.

I refuse to believe in aliens that wear mascara.

I'll plead guilty to both of those, though they don't tend to happen at the same time. But even if I was an intellectual masturbator, I would far rather be that than a mental wanker like you.

How do I take a photograph of my TV screen without getting the black stripe across the shot?” â€" Brad

Thanks for the question Brad. Taking photographs of your television while it’s on isn’t too difficult and because you’re shooting in digital it should be something that you can get right with a little experimentation (keep taking shots until you get it right â€" it won’t cost you anything but a little time).

The major factor that you’ll need to consider is what type of TV screen that you have. If you have an older CRT screen it’s a slightly different ball game to if you have a newer flat panel screen.

CRT Televisions
All televisions have what is called a ‘refresh rate’ (or the rate at which the screen replaces images on the screen pixel by pixel each second to make it a moving image). With older CRT screens this refresh rate is 24 times per second (on newer screens this rate is faster). As a result you’ll need to choose a slower shutter speed when photographing a CRV TV. Otherwise you’ll get a shot with a black band across the TV (as pictured) â€" something that is often referred to as ‘banding’.

With a CRT TV you’ll probably need a shutter speed of 1/25 second or slower. As a result of this you’ll also need to have a tripod to keep your camera secure and you’ll want the image on the screen to be a fairly still or slow moving one (or you’ll get movement blur). To select this slower shutter speed switch your camera to shutter priority mode and the camera will select an appropriate aperture to get a well exposed shot.

Running a cult is not easy. Level-headed adults can easily see through their bullshit. That is why its important to brainwash them early.

mudking,

Perhaps you'll notice that the rush to take down someone of enormously greater stature causes the zealous losers to overlook basic erroneous presumptions in their attempts:

"Taking photographs of your television while it’s on isn’t too difficult and because you’re shooting in digital..."

1976...digital cameras?

I won't bother addressing the rest of the certain to appear desperate dumb comments from dolts. But there'll be no shortage on this forum, you can be assured.

Digital and film are irrelevant as far as shutter speed are concerned. As long as the shutter speed is slower than the refresh rate of the TV (CRT) then it will be fine. Film is one means of image capture, digital another.. Dismissing people as dolts doesn't make them so, I know you'd love it to be so as it makes your life easier, but I for one am pretty clued up regarding photography; feel free to ask me anything you're unsure about.

MichaelHorn

Sure, establish that the show in question was broadcast where Meier lived, place Meier in front of a TV at that time, explain how he knew it would be broadcast (if it was) explain the lack of the dots, black band, and the clarity of a photo that would have to have been taken with a camera stuck on infinity, explain the lack of a video of the show existing before the 1990s to photograph, explain it all with actual, factual EVIDENCE of the aforementioned instead of just infantile assumptions...and explain your pathetic insistence on promoting stupidity because you can't handle the truth.

No wait, that last request can't be answered because, by definition, infantile people can't offer credible, adult, substantiated explanations or evidence. And of course, that's what this forum is essentially about, which is why I...practice here. Because, in real life, I never get "challenges" as stupid as these, so everything else is spectacularly easy to answer.

According to Ferdi Mayer, the Wienerians believe that self-satisfaction is the whole point of masturbation. It doesn't take an intellectual to understand that.

You sir, are correct! I have made the outrageous claim that I, as a mere child, in the early 1970's, pointed an ordinary camera at an ordinary television and produced an ordinary photograph! An ORDINARY PHOTOGRAPH, for Christ's sake! I made this claim without first providing intricate details on how, when, where and why such an ordinary photograph was ever taken. I haven't even bothered to submit said, ordinary photograph for proper scientific scrutiny.

I have, outrageously, made an ordinary claim without providing extraordinary proof. I sir, should NEVER be allowed to present my case for the existence of ordinary photographs to ANY respected gathering of UFO professionals, anywhere. EVER.

I have never claimed to be any form of "legitimate skeptic", I just don't buy Billy Meier's obvious lie. You sir, are nothing more than a second-hand con-man selling second-hand lies. You sir, are the Fred Sanford of UFO bullshit stories.

On a side note, around the same time, I also took a very nice photo of a 'poop', in the toilet. (I was quite young, remember) That one may interest you. It was rather impressive, if I remember correctly, so I may have indeed kept that one! I'll check my photo albums, if you'd care to inspect it.

I exercised my intellectual curiosity and believe I have discovered evidence that Mr. Horn is not what he seems to be.  He's actually a cleverly disguised alien disinformation agent, sent here to prevent us from learning of his people's plans for the invasion and conquest of Earth by distracting us with fanciful tales about Billy Meier and the non-existent Panjandrums.

We know televisions were ubiquitous in the '70s.  We know there was a Dean Martin special with two women identical to those in the image posing in approximately an identical way wearing identical clothing.  We know rebroadcasts are common and that television programs from the US often appear in Europe at some later date, perhaps multiple times.  We know Europeans love variety shows.  We know VCRs and Betamax were available at a time this program may have been rebroadcast.  We know it takes seconds to grab a camera and take a photograph if something interesting appears on the screen.  We know broadcast schedules were widely available in popular magazines during the '70s.  We know these magazines, as well as a plethora of entertainment magazines, contained promotional material which just might include a still of two attractive women, although, I can clearly see horizontal lines from the raster scan in the image below.  We know the Meier image is blurred which is a photographic technique to hide details in an image (see Joan Collins or any aging actress for details).

Oh yeah, we also know Michelle DellaFave identified herself in the image:

QuoteI know that the picture of myself and Susie is from the Dean Martin show when the Golddiggers were guests on the show. I think it is about 1971 and I did wear my hair with little curls at the side of my face.  It amazes me that he chose that picture. I guess it was when they did the reruns in Europe. I do not want anyone thinking I am causing any problems. I am simply stating the truth involved with these pictures.  I just know a picture of myself when I see one, as anyone else would. I know it is from a segment when The Golddiggers would sit around Dean Martin and sing beautiful ballads called ‘Welcome To My World."
