Well, we all knew that he held radical views, the Alinsky stuff and all. And he basically made a career out of being a moderate agitator which is really what a "community organizer" is. At the time, I figured he was just working the book angle and lecture circuit cash before he figured out how politics really works and jumped in.

Once there, leftwing bullshit artists like himself usually moderate everything and go to the center pretty much as a rule. He didn't really do that, it turns out. The question that I have is why the fuck would you erase the gains of the 70's, 80's and 90's in race relations? He basically stood by as it was pissed away and now multiple cities have seen rioting. He's shown literally no leadership in that regard when he could have outdone Martin Luther King as far as legacy goes. It was a no-brainer. I can only conclude that he wants the country to burn down.

Maybe the whole thing is directed...a show to change our thinking about an issue at a particular time?

He could have easily quelled these situations by taking charge and asking people that if they must protest to do it peacefully but where has he been much of the time this stuff is going down?  Sleeping, playing golf or taking a trip. >:(

Yeah on the wines but some are good, supposedly. I don't like white wine in general but "when in Rome" at a festival for it and cute Frauleins, the "mayor" or whatever was a bit in his cups and was kissing/groping the beauty contest winners in traditional garb a bit much I thought. But was funny and they seemed practiced at avoiding too much contact. What is so infuriating to me is that, actually, I am multi-cultural, I LIKE other cultures and enjoy working, visiting, getting drunk, etc with them. And the globalism, unfettered immigration, and commercialization is killing it. People, countries, nations, religions, should be allowed to have their culture. Borders matter. I would hate the world to become some Hollywood land of crap and attacks on people because they don't comply or look different. Immigration, fine, in limited numbers. So every culture's sake.

You'll get no argument from me. I'm happy to get drunk in a bar in Bolivia or China and meet people and be friendly and explore their culture. I hate it when I see corporate globalization destroying that, which is really what liberal multiculturalism boils down to.

Absolutely, at best he will be seen by history as inept, at worst he will be seen as a subversive. We've never had a president like Barack Obama. He literally passed on every opportunity to make his presidency a positive thing which it should have been. He blew his chance at greatness.

I think it's gone on too long for that. I just think he's sympathetic to anti-Americanism and couldn't separate himself from it and do his job properly.

Gramsci, Frankfurt School, or various defectors like Golitsyn, now by that reference, I'm not saying the Russians are behind it, though he had some interesting stuff as did the Mitrokhin archive. But that these leftists have doctrines and clear strategies and the intention is destruction of Western Civilization and they see USA as prime target. Though, obviously, going after others also with the odd-ball politics and immigration. Propaganda, from government and Hollywood, etc.

So you think we just randomly got an anti-american president? It was just the luck of the draw?

Interesting. You think it was an accident, even the best laid plans or first contact with enemy etc, and Obama got off the reservation, in a way?

Read any history book and you will find that there have been more shitty leaders then actual good leaders

A  good point. And these email leaks also shows how young and untrained the aides are. Though many of same still were ok, even after major events. Not many, in recent history, are on the battlefields, and even in some of the worse cases just move to the Riveria and move their money to Panamanian, Swiss, Cayman banks etc to retire.

I'll take the step further. Gramsci and the Frankfurt School fucked up. They thought they could bring about communism through the slow march through the institutions. Stupidly, they didn't realize that such a thing would evolve and become capitalistic in and of itself. Now it's just bullshit artists working the left to make a buck and screw society up.

So, we're just so stupid that it's hopeless because we can only seem to elect bad leaders? I'm not really understanding your line of thinking here. It seems diversionary.

:) :) :) So in a weird way the left is becoming capitalist and making their own rope?? In which to hang? ;)

I think so, yes. Just happened to be the lucky guy. Unfortunately he just didn't know how to use that to his advantage and become great.

Diversionary how? And i ment in all of world history, people who shouldn't be in power tend to get power over those who are " great" .

Oh yes. The merging of corporatism, globalism and leftism behind the scenes is the last nail in modern liberalism's coffin. What's coming will move their ideology into irrelevancy.

We've done this before. But some technocratic globalist government is the best future? I see the logic and history, even way back, to Utopian ideas and, always, wonders of modern technology, every generation has them, but? Like religious this idea of no different cultures, or reservations, etc I don't like. I actually like diversity. Odd for a right-winger? Ha. But I think consolidation of power will result in more corruption and problems. But to each their own. And not mass migration that changes countries. Have trades, travel, and even immigration but pre-65 and with concern for the country (and theirs, capital and brain-drain hurts them and encourages more.)

Seems kinda naive. I'm trying to take a chessboard view here so don't take what I'm about to say as my personal beliefs or feelings. However, there are 1.7 billion Muslims in today's world. If non-Muslims want their offspring to NOT live under sharia law then we either have to start procreating a hell of a lot more or get them to stop. So, if your goal is to prevent this what better way to steer a country toward the acceptance of genocide than electing a president that appears to be selling you out to them? I know, I'm paranoid. I'll just put my tinfoil hat back on now and have a drink.  ;)

The vibe was much better tonight. I'd even go so far as saying the protestors won me over a little tonight. Watching all the livestreams and Periscopes the protestors were much more peaceful and rational tonight. I hope that's the direction these BLMs things take as it might actually have a positive outcome if they get rid of their corrupt leaders and focus on a coherent and all-inclusive message.

I don't think it's going to be a technocracy so much as a Singleton. Think a computer intelligence smarter than we are starts making the decisions for us because we can't come to a consensus. We'll probably be hostages to it, but thinking can be changed with an alteration of memory and chemicals. The human brain can be hacked. So you'll just wake up one day and accept it and remember nothing of your former self.

Unless, of course, we get a government that isn't dinosaurical in their thinking still worried about abortion and race and what triggers SJW's and goes the extra mile when it matters and moderates how our technology develops.

I see I made top right corner.  lol  Not sure why to be honest but whatever.  Thanks, mv!  :D

The racism meme by Obama/Clinton/Soros and whomever, even me sometimes, (I take self-protection over policy) but why don't they trot out so many good guys instead? I want some of those "protesters" to get on his lawn. Hero and funny local guy and loves tacos, a cigar and whiskey. Smart dude, kept a Tommy Gun and sits with it, ready.

I  think we need to go back, despite the errors, on us. Using, as an example, sports. The tech, supposedly, has beaten humans, but even now there are, still, to close to call and odd angles, etc and, slowing down games,....so thoughts on changing the human element (stepping off bag, talking to pitchers, hockey guy getting some extra rest, etc?

macavay

The protesters were not very violent tonight there were a couple of incidences of them acting up but they weren't looting and breaking shit tonight...

But whatever I live in Canada anyways so feel free to destroy each other and we'll just sit up here and wait for you to kill each other off and then we'll just Annex your country after you're all dead

I'm fine with protests so long as that is all they are.  Protests.  These groups need to do a better job of policing themselves.  I'm glad it was peaceful tonight.
