Hey while Art is going on shows why doesn't he GO ON HIS OWN SHOW? He can show up for GabCast but not for his own followers and show? Mental.

Gravity trying to shut down the gossip on the show is hilarious. Dude THIS IS WHAT MAKES A GOOD RADIO SHOW. sHUT. UP. 

Heather is a stunted moron. She's giggling that she called some person at night and screamed at someone (Bateman) who had been helping her. She sounds like an ASSHOLE.

I agree with Bateman, she embarrassed herself. Keith, Art, and Heather all act like 10 year olds.

NO WONDER this thing didn't last longer than 5 mos.

Heather was a crap producer, and she is a worse host. Give it up.

Exactly. And Keith has always conducted himself like a little bitch. I am glad you called that out on your show. I asked him an innocent question about the #dmtalk feed (I participated in that) and he lost his mind on my twitter timeline. He also got his ass handed to him by other #dmtalkers for doing so. His reaction never matches the situation.

That "update" was nothing more than a score settling disguised as information.

Also? When has Art EVER had a fill in? That dangled carrot to the other two hosts who quit his network was intended to make them feel like assholes.  In all my years of listening they have always (even when he was on Coast) played replays of old shows.

Art seems to hire people that act exactly like him. Stunted and unprofessional.

Nowhere is my "right" to say that Art Bell is a man without flaws and a saint guaranteed to be met without criticism.  Nowhere is my "right" to question Art's decisions or truthfulness guaranteed to be met without criticism.  You still have free speech to question the words of others and make whatever statement you wish- but others have the same right.

As to our grandparents... Whatever happened to civility (genuine or feigned?)  I would argue that people feigned civility in many instances.  However, if you want to return to that time, I demand you call me "sir", laugh at my shitty jokes, smile when I speak with you, act with manners and be courteous at all times.  In addition, if you are under 18, I would remind you that children are meant to be seen and not heard.

Or, we can live in today's world where you still have free speech, and I will defend to the death your right to hold whatever opinion you wish, but will still continue to tell you what I think of those opinions.

Riiight. You just made my point by rewording it. Kudos. I was talking about the veiled threats to DP's family someone made just because the dude looked up a video anyone can find in a five second google search and posted it.

Agree. Whatever happened to our grandparents generation's philosophy of "I do not agree with your opinion but I will fight to the death for you to have it." It's gone. Now we are all a bunch of special snowflakes who go to the ends of the earth to destroy someone who has pissed us off. It's disgusting.
I don't agree with DP's dragging Art's son into this mess. Lord knows Art has given us PLENTY of examples of how he plays with the truth and has the mentality of a 12 year old when someone makes him mad, without having to go THERE.

I like Art as a host but if you were to meet half your hero's you'd be strongly disappointed by their real life choices. Art is NO exception.

Art is a great broadcaster. He's also a flake and a drama queen

It's possible for all these things to be true, without arguing to the death and harassing over pieces of it.

So Art has now quit MITD, Bellgab, and fb. lol He's running out of things TO QUIT. Now he has to come back just to get his Quit Fix AGAIN. lololol This guy.

As some of you have heard, Art was unable to do the show because of a second incident since October involving what appears to be gun fire at, near or around his studio and therefore at, near or around Art.

I don't know if any of you have ever been shot at. I have. And it isn't something you "man up" in the face of when you have a wife and child as a few have suggested he should do.

I'm not on the Art Bell payroll so I'd like to set a few things straight as someone who is speaking from outside the circle looking in. I have been prepping for tonight's show with Art's Producer for over a week and again for over two hours on the phone last night. All the while, Art was providing input and being kept in the loop bc quite frankly we had an amazing show planned with no product plugs. Just free giveaways and creepy, good old fashioned tales of the strange and odd.

I can tell you from firsthand knowledge that Art was excited about the show, Heather and I were working closely to get the logistics and the episodes flow down so it would be seamless (giveaways have FCC implications and have to be planned correctly and carefully). So I can tell you without fail that Art and company had every intention of a show happening tonight.

I don't typically find value in being preachy but I really think this needs to be said- Art is a perfectionist and perfectionist are often a little odd, testy and unpredictable. But that is the price we pay (a small one), literally and metaphorically for the quality of content we have been getting from Art for over 20 years. Many of us, myself included, have careers in the field bc of Art's early work.  But odd and a little testy are far cries from being dishonest or a quitter.

For those of you who have been with Art since the beginning that would imply he is "just looking for a reason to quit." - shame on you. For those of you who haven't been there since the beginning and may not have even been born when Art started doing this- respectfully, you have no idea who or what you are talking about and are in no position to question a man's integrity simply because you pony up a few bucks every month. For the record, I am a paying subscriber as well. 

I have a very good idea of what Art spent to relaunch his show and I promise you he hasn't recouped the costs he has incurred by starting the show back up on his own dime. The gear he is using is state of the art (no pun intended) and is unbelievably expensive. It's a labor of love for the craft folks, not a money play and certainly not so he could turn around and just walk away from it. You wanted to take a ride- well this is the ride. Sometimes bumpy, sometimes frustrating, but always for the right reasons and always focusing on quality above all else. Simply put, the ride isn't perfect, but it's worth it.

I look forward to being back on the show for what is shaping up to be a great episode and in the meantime, being a nightly listener along with everyone else. Cheers.

First of all (laughs)....Art left a wife and two kids because it wasn't for him. He has little to no contact with those kids according to his wiki. Also? He remarried some mail order bride within two weeks of  his third wife's death. At Coast he retired abruptly many times and then pulled the stunts at Siruis and here.
So PLEASE FORGIVE US if we question the integrity of someone who has shown VERY LITTLE OF IT in his life or the motives for someone who has a HISTORY of quitting. Families, children, shows, quitting is WHAT HE DOES and we have all the right in the world to assume THE OBVIOUS.

I call bullshit on this entire escapade. First of all....anyone with his collection of equipment, guns etc, would most certainly have CAMERA'S around his PROPERTY. So once again, the great Art Bell self sabotages a show. No one is shocked. And also? What makes him think if someone is targeting him they are going to stop just because he ends the show? Call the damn FBI, Art.
I just think it's all a ruse to get him out of this show with abysmal ratings.

Ugh I cannot deal with FAT AMY and the multitude of sad middle aged assholes who slober over her. DO YOUR OWN NEWS ART.

I think Art is doing a fabulous job with tonight's open lines. I thought he was more right wing but he actually lines up with many of my own beliefs.
Fat Amy however, sounds stupidly robotic lately. She ruins this show.

Reddit has a good check list to follow. Or you can simply go to every site that has it listed and there is a request form to have it removed. Google maps will blur the image of your property if you ask them to do so. Happens within hours of your request.
