Found a show that the Travel Channel has called Deadly Possessions.  It's apparently about a guy that is collecting infamous objects to put on display in his "museum".  The Dibbuk Box and Robert the Haunted Doll are featured in the first episode.

Sounds cool.  Wonder whether snoory will tune is to see Robert? :o ;D

Hmm..will have to check it out.  I had never heard of the Dibbuk Box..very weird.  I don't usually go in for this kind of thing, but I  have a WW2 relic in my possession that was supposedly considered cursed or even haunted.  It is a small vest pocket pistol which was supposedly carried by a high ranking German officer during Germany's occupation of Czechoslovakia.  The marks on the pistol place it in Czech during the occupation, and these particular pistols were used by German officers according to my research.  It does have Nazi markings on it.  The rest of the story is most likely bunk, as I have uncovered many "stories" pertaining to military "bring backs," not only during that time, but throughout the history of warfare.  Still, it makes for a fun conversation piece and I purchased it for a song, the gun's magazine generally selling for more than I gave for the pistol.  So far, the Devil hasn't rang the doorbell to claim it.

Fourth episode had a mirror that belonged to Bella Lugosi and a television that belonged to Charles Manson.

I can't wait for the episode about the server that stores bell gab in particular the cluster that houses the Falkie stuff. Terrifying.

Is Robert the haunted doll the one that Noory used to talk about? He's freaky as hell. So's the doll. See what I did there?

One in the same... Fifth episode had Ed Gein's cauldron and a painting called The Crying Boy.

There was a horror movie I remember seeing that had a room with a collection of haunted artifacts and a creepy doll was in there. Not a chucky movie.

I think that the movie you are referring to is The Conjuring which is based on Ed and Lorainne Warren.

I thought so.  Noory has a hard on for that doll.

This cursed neckerchief slide that I was given at the Scout Fun Fair when I was twelve has so far only killed house plants and mockingbirds, but it is unquestionably evil in every other respect. It makes the house constantly smell like a week old, sun baked bag of carp and cabbage, claws the furniture, curdles the gas in my car, and keeps me awake every night by belting out Wild Man Fischer songs at an ear splitting volume.  Yeah, it was all good fun until the fair ended.

I believe in ghosts but find shows like this to be eye rollingly bad.
