A few years ago there was a thread, or derailed thread, about Q-Tips and ear cleaning problems. ....

I think that was Camazotz's Q-Tip addiction confessional thread.  I've sworn those things off for anything ear-related.  And I do not possess the required body flexibilty or balance to use the home bulb-squirters on myself.  Thus I go my doc's nurse who is not only an expert at the process but, rather than being grossed out by it, has a clinical curiosity about what she may find in there.  So, win/win.

vaping ear wax... that's bellgab's ticket to easy street.
Mein Gott! I wasn't even considering the actual vaping of the ear wax itself! But using the technology to, somehow, remove it. Imagine the possibilities of the ear wax of a constant stoner, refined, and vaped. Apparently drug uses of all kinds goes into ones hair, hence the hair test sometimes used. So you might even be able to get other effects. Genius. A bit disgusting but why when the tar from pipes, the "refining" involved in hash or oil, etc of weed. Praise MV for finding another avenue for revenue!

Someone gave me one of those cheap, but very effective, mini microscopes. You think what comes out looks bad then with just a human eye! Look at it with them. Also, just looking at your skin make you think David Icke was right and there are Reptilians amongst us and maybe you are one! Stuff like cuts etc also look crazy. And it has various light spectrum adjustments and seems, to me, more powerful as the stuff we had back in the day in class. Not really, I'm sure, but pretty powerful to see stuff. Technology, so cheap these days. Data storage, microscopes, drones, etc. Amazing.

Guys, I just whipped up the best pulled pork recipe. I totally winged it too and they're fucking delicious! The only thing that could make the experience better is if a militant Muslim told me that I look like pork too.  :P
Waiting patiently on the recipe.

Hopefully it's just ear wax and nothing worse than that.

You win.  I was going to post the old "cockroach in the nose", but your video is better (and better suited to the topic.)

Winning would have been if I had posted that picture of the elderly Japanese man with the maggots in his brain but MV doesn't have spoiler tags enabled.

I told you it was improvised. I didn't use measurements but basically after you slow roast a pork roast shred it up with a fork and add it to a sauce made by sauteing slivered onions and minced garlic in a half butter/olive oil mix. Once the onions are translucent but before the garlic burns add some water and return to simmering. Add Ketchup, white wine vinegar, hot sauce, dijon, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Serve on a bun hot or cold. I tried to list the ingredients from most to least. Use your own discretion.

It sounds interesting.  I actually just bought a pork roast to try it with and had not looked up any recipe.  When I say your post, I figured it was fate.  ;)

I will give it a shot.  Might be interesting.

P.S.  Amy: your thread is turning into one to swap recipes, earwax stories and post videos of maggots living in a human body.  Time to come back and do a show.

She doesn't read this thread anymore. She abandoned Bellgab three months ago. She unfollowed rekcuf on Twitter too.

I've tried a pot roast twice, trying to hone my skills before trying pork which is trickier.  Actually my second one was supposed to be shredded beef for tacos but I wimped out on the spices, resulting in basically pot roast w/o the potatoes.  Anyway, I may try something similar.  Pulled pork is one of the great foods of life.

It's really not, zeeb. Being a fattier meat it's actually very forgiving to cook with. I don't have a pressure cooker but a lot of people do it that way. I just do it at 300 in and oven an make sure to add a bit of water under your rack. I usually make a paste or dry rub for the roast too. There are lots of recipes for pork roast rubs out there.

Pressure cookers are great, especially for meat that you don't want to dry out but ensure you "cooked enough"- like pork or chicken. Actually pork has gotten a bad name because everyone wants to over-cook it, so a pressure cooker is good. Caveat: if you are dark-complected or a Muslim a pressure cooker buy or internet search might be a bad thing. Especially if you have overstayed your student VISA.
I agree, Pot roast, I think is one of the easiest things to make. Brown it a bit first, then add your stuff and water/broth. Even if it just Onion Soup mix and your veggies and cook slow for a long time. The only issue is addition of vegetables at the right time to preference (some go soft, or even dissolve if added too soon.)

I'll bet she doesn't mind the ongoing plugs, though. So principled.

But threads can be rerailed into earwax or cooking discussions so any google, etc search for her show would get searchers to BG thread and bizarre ear cleaning techniques or ear parasites- along with recipes. Would turn off most people. Not the ones here though.
Praise MV.

Are "instapots" the same thing as "pressure cookers?"

So two weeks ago it was what - sleepiness?    Last week was ear water.

I'm going with a rabid weasel attack this week.   Any other thoughts?

I'm gonna go with MSG side-effects from an ill-advised egg roll.

I'll take a rabid weasel with mange.

Amy, good to see you're on tonite.  Stay clear of Chinese food and Weasels though, just to be safe.

Migraine. I know she gets them. I had one on the first day of spring a couple days ago.  ;)
