Would you go to Vegas if Falkie was attending?

Yes
No

You can set a user to your "ignore" list by doing the following:

1) Click on "Your Profile" in the main menu.
2)In the side bar, click "Buddies/Ignore List".
3) Click "Edit Ignore List".
4)Type the name into the "Member:" box, and press "Add".

That's it.  You're done.  The only time you'll see the user's post is if the admin of the forum is a petty, churlish reprobate.

when you listen to the dull, empty, soulless bass work on this cover, mccartney's capabilities as a bass player become even more evident.  he's so underrated as a bassist.  it's not just about playing the right notes at the right time.  there's something more.  some have it, some don't.
Agree. McCartney's bass playing was fantastic. Always overshadowed by his songwriting/cute Beatle thing.
I'm glad someone mentioned it.
ps, The Who's bass player great too.

I am officially on Double Secret Probation on George's private Falkenberg's Fortress thread...it seems he took offense to me posting the "dropped soap" gif there. Apprently, there is a huge aversion to anything that suggests homosexuality to him!

He has been a frustrated gay man for decades (see Falkie Xmas Carol parts 3 and 4), and bringing up the subject just gets those longings resurfacing again. I'd say he was in the closet, but he can't get in there because it's full of the clothes his bitch of a mother kept insisting on buying for him.

This is more caustic than the Noory sucks thread.

It has strayed from it's original purpose of gossip and lesbian talk. Chefist, please save us!  :)

Thanks
i have reconsidered, i am going ahead with the meeting.....with a BIG difference.
I will not carry this burden alone and should not.  I will not bare this burden alone.
I have contacted and confirmed that the follwing people will also help me in this
indevor.  So far, Lynn Witlake, Ron Shaw, Allan Corbeth, Tony Watson, Charles Gray and
Jennifer Osborn have confirmed that they will help out.   Hopefully we can all convince
Art the best way forward.  Do to the large amount of attendies, as you can imagine, it takes a lot
of time to organize a date where all can attend.  I will let you all know when the meeting will happen.
NOTE and PLEASE TAKE NOTE - this is THE LAST TIME that i will attempt this.
if i am mocked again....you will all bare the consequences.

bobo
can be in Purump at one time.
so far i have comittments to attend the meeting

This is of course a user driven exercise....so I'm sure George will get plenty of coverage! We do have some BIG news coming soon!

I smell a Drone-esque Season X shtick coming. With little weasel Chris involved it figures.

I will not be supporting any more programs with Falkie on them including gabcasts. So sadly I will not be in chat when his show is happening because I do not want anything to do with this. I want to give no support whatsoever to someone who treats others so poorly. All of us love Brig. That was the breaking point for me.

I'm with you PBS.  Senda has a well-documented history as a misogynist, bigot, blowhard and all-around unpleasant person. Why would I want to spend two irreplaceable hours of my life listening to him or someone like him? I can think of at least 1,000 better things to do. If some people are entertained by him, more power to them.  I'm not one of them.

I love your work on the Somewhere in Grime series but I'll produce that evidence as exhibit A. The prosecution rests.

NO.
I have asked for confirmation as to where you supposedly are posting these open posts.
No answer yet and asked you privately as I wanted to get your comment on it PRIVATELY and not start a fight or anything.
People will lie about others on here just to stir things up and cause trouble.
I did the courtesy of asking you what was your comment on the accusations.

Go back to your private thread you banned the creator of this one you fucking dickhead

One of my male co-workers told me that someone had left a chicken wing in a urinal in the mens bathroom. He didn't say if it was eaten or not. I don't work there any more.

They call that the "San Francisco Marinade".

I forgot about this site after the Art debacle until I get a PM from MV saying that the Falkinator is doing a podcast. I haven't listened yet as I've never got past a minute of his videos. From what I hear he is a star. I also heard he ate through the entire show which I'm not surprised about.

This thread is taking shape! I'm, I'm...

Fun fact: That guy is called Bernard Cribbins and I met him once at a fete when I was a kid. I was trying to bring down a coconut with a wooden ball (called the 'coconut shy' over here) and I kept missing. Cribbins was the guest of honour and saw my hapless flailing about, so he got them to allow me to get a bit closer to try and knock one down. But I was still shit.

Perhaps by non-musicians but if you ask musicians or other bass players who they think are the top bass players he makes almost everyone's list. To me a VERY underrated bass player is Bruce Thomas who was the bass player in Elvis Costello and the Attractions. They're all really solid musicians in that band but to me it's his prominent and very original, hard driving bass lines that really make those songs. Another bass player who is probably still relatively unknown because she was only ever a studio musicians but she played on almost everything in the 60s and 70s is Carol Kaye. Her lines were always very original and percussive because she was a pick player in the days when not many did that.

It was typical Senda.  Inhaling food while bleating away about any topic that came to his feeble little mind.  His mouth runs on auto pilot so it was effortless for him.  I listened a little more than an hour out of curiosity but I won't be listening again.

I wonder if he ever reached his goal?  I'll tell you straight out, 34,233 dirty shirts is a lot!

He's incredible.

Saw Iron Maiden last weekend.  Steve Harris was amazing.  Sadly, did not play this:

Yeah, he's amazing! Another great unsung bass hero that's on that list is James Jamerson, who you can hear on almost any major Motown hit.
