Never have i found any thing not an kull/cull or seriously damaged there.
I talked to an former insider and whistle blower an decade or more ago about this issue.
He explained how the'charities'ie 'legal racketeers'worked.
The important parts were how the kklass segregated caste economy was re-enforced by these racketeers.
In-taken goods are sorted by retarded wage-slave monkeys that follow the slave-based templates of the sort.
An specialty non-monky kkrew makes an call on questionable decisions.
After the primary sort,gradeing krews take all the high quality and valuable items to another secure warehouse in un-marked trucks.
The specialty buying customers are boutique purchase agents.
The boutique agents bid on the high end goods.
All the worthless junk,garbage,defectives,etc,are the goods placed in-to the original thrift/racket stores.
This is why i don't shop in:
1)Boutiques.
2)Jumble shops.
3)pawn shops.
4)Et.Al.

PS:In addition,the psychological kkontrol media paste-ins as advertorials are planted in mass media to provide fantasy stories of alleged'lucky'customers of the thrift store garbage that keeps the naeve monkeys shopping in these racket-run pseudo-charity rip-off stores.

Not a big win- like that awesome Danske chair that was got by K_Dubb!!! Awesome! But a small, interesting one. At a local Salvation Army, in Austin, saw this for less than a buck (less than initial cover cost) and considering its message, if anyone recalls. Watching the HS championships (that awful leg break,) and the college bowls, and now the NFL.)  An indictment of our great Coach Royal and football in general, basically. Decades before "Concussions" etc.  Author was called a pussy, turn-coat, etc. Of course, but I wonder now? Having said that I'm a bit torn because, heck it is Coach Royal! And also personally I admit liking, ok not liking then; appreciate?, some coaches, teachers, etc who ran us hard, hazed us, etc. (Not anything to do with this book, UT, or organization.) It does build 'character' and bond a group. But I totally admit it can go too far and one should also recognize what the 'goal' is. A sports team? Just cause your a HS Senior? Some fraternal organization? Or a military unit? Haha. See. There are differences. Having said that it sucks that his life turned out to be pretty bad, and I wonder about that concussion stuff there. Too bad and I hope/think, some changes will be made but not sure how in actual game-play , though rules changes already, will ever eliminate it. But certainly certain drills etc have changed.

I found a Nintendo and Dreamcast, with games and controllers in a dumpster. They worked.

My favorite finds in thrift stores was an old WWF board game that goes for good money today. I also once found an Ed Gein book for 2 bucks that was worth 10x that.

I visit these places a bunch and have a basement full of memories aka junk
