List of possible replacements for Art's show

This is a list of the possible different radio personalities that could or could not take over for Art in no particular order. I'm sure you'll will give me your opinions on my evaluations of each person listed. I also know that opinions are like assholes, we think everybody else's asshole stinks.
1.) Howard Hugh's = He's got a great voice, but, I've tried to listen to his podcast, but his choice of subject content, just isn't very good at all. I mean, he is still running off of requesting donations after years of having plenty of exposure on both sides of the pond. His lack of any podcast subscription/donation growth in size over the past 4-5 years speaks for us all. It's not just having a good voice.
2.) Clyde Lewis= Clydes show on KXL fm runs at basically the same time as Arts but Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis is a M-F 5 hour show. The Good= He has the voice, he knows how to pick some really epic topics, it beats C2C except when G.Knapp is on. The guy has a photogenic mind, very high IQ, & there's not a ufo topic out there that he does know all the facts about. ( the best thing, he freck'en  has Godzilla in his intro)) he does already have the audience so the joining of the two shows would be seamless, and if someone else would pick show content, it could work if given the time to win over the Art old school vets. ( hell we all were suckered by Noorey, and then forced to listen to that crap.
The Bad= he can pick some really bad show content at times, he has to many shows with political topics. With his health issues, and not his fault, he could die in mid sentence.
3.) George Knapp= Has a successful full time gig, at his Vages news station, & once a month on C2C Camino. To me, he'd be my 1st. Choice, but it ain't happening, I'm sure C2C has a non compete on him for 2yrs.
4.) Richard HogeLand = oh, I am just too funny, ain't I??( no, I am not serious)  He was given the best 2 hours in Radio by ART. The 2 golden hours following Arts show, & he never managed to get 1 paid commercial, & the when Art's advertising team tried to give the paid advertisers, that Were buying ad time on Arts show, some free ad time on Richards show, they declined it, & threatened to pull their ads from Arts show, if they ever heard their product ads on Richards show. He grabbed the keys to the show, & instead of staying in the middle of the road. The guy stomped the Gas pedal to the floor, strived hard left, & drove right off the same cliff as Obama,& Jimmy Carter on day one. & for 7 mths. he sat right there at the bottom of that canyon floor that was 19.5 degrees from the First listener, & totally unaware he'd even driven off a cliff, he sat there in a dry gulch, talking to himself & the 5 listeners he paid to listen to themselves on the air as they circle jerked with a bottle of $10.00 lotion one of them snuck up stairs & stole from their mom.
5.) John B. wells way way to political, way to boring, ego the size of a house, he was tapped to do C2C
& he got shit canned for not following the show format. Although he said he quit, what ever happened, he was way off the reservation when that train went off the tracks. Wouldn't work
6.) Dave Schrader can't see it, voice just does nothing for me.
7.) Jimmy Church= I know, me neither.
8.) Brian Williams= I know, I know, no credit ability, tells to many lies, he would be doing a live remote from a UFO he is in and it's crashing as I speak to you.
9.) the guy with the ball cap and ray ban pilot shades from UFO hunters would be a good host.
10.) Heather= young unjaded, she hasn't interviewed every long winded egotistical blowhard asshole that just because they've written words on paper, as instructed by the producers of C2C, they claim to be an Author. She doesn't have a bad voice, she doesn't have some odd hang up on a certain social issue that she can't help but talk about. Her skin seems to be tough enough to hold her own.
NOW, will she have balls big enough to straight up call BULLSHIT, ON BULLSHIT, when she smells BULLSHIT. That we will have to wait and see, hopefully she will.
All I can say is she's doing the show, she's not Art but who is. Let's all give her a few weeks to a month to grow on us. Hell, we all were forced to let George Norrey shoot bullshit in our ear canals with a high pressure firehose and he grew on most of us till about 3 years ago when you could tell he was just in it for the check.
We all hate Art is gone, but, he is, I myself say just listen for 30 days and let's all be glad it's not Richard HogeLand, or Jimmy Church, or Dave Redfern that we were stuck with from now on.

Stephen King is right, but for someone who says "All I can say is she's doing the show" he took a long time to get there. Thanks Mr. King!

Cialardo,
Do you know how I set up a poll? I was going to put up, just all their names on a poll & any more names that may pop up for people to vote on. I read the how to's but couldn't decern a method from that page?

I doubt a poll is going to be paid attention to by the show--I have a help page--just a sec.

MV might have to turn it on or something but here is the manual for the board software.

Yea, I know it was long winded, but, I was trying to get some of these hard heads to understand that of the shitty options we have to choose from, that shit, still taste like shit, no matter what you call it.
If Heather, & Amy too, heck, Amy would be a really good host to me. She's got a good voice. But if Heather does have the skills to pay the bills, now, enough to keep DMRN on the air for the next year. Then she will be planting the seeds of possibly becoming this generations iconic radio show host of the unexplained. She will have to fully embrace the position, dress it, be it, talk it, & walk it. 24 / 7

It's fine, you like to write, I like to read. It's all good. I was just teasing you  ;)

Josh Gates? Love his shows, but he might be too talkative.

Brad Meltzer? He's written some great books, I love his TV shows, and he's great with kids on his FB page (weekly story time).  But would this subject matter be something work doing night after night?  Actually, the older, slightly rounder dude from his show Decoded might be great.

Jesse Ventura? He may have his own radio show- he certainly has a recognizable voice.  He's definitely into the subject matter.. BUT, if he ever wanted to legitimately run for president some day  ;) then maybe he wouldn't want do do more than he already has.

Actually, maybe somebody could get the dude from The Lone Gunman? Dean Haglund? He was already interviewed by RCH, he's got a good voice, he already knows about crazy stuff..  he's living in Australia or some place, but that's hardly a barrier.

::)

That's on the other side of the world, don't be crazy. Nobody from over there listens to Art Bell.

Good call on Josh Gates, I never thought about him. But, I do have some serious reservations about what Josh's true intentions would be for wanting to do the show.
I have come to see Josh's TV shows as simplistic quickie lowbudget ways to turn a quick buck by having a show based on a starved genera. If you look at what josh does and calls investiging the unexplained for the always allusive xxxxxx?  Pick unexplained thing, pick a location, fly in, get 12 hours night footage. Fly out, find annomily in footage, speculate. Rinse off equipment, count net profit. Repeat.
Now, I am not saying Josh is a phony or not a true believer. But, his shows are so predictable & the routine is always the same basic process. My main issue with his shows are, how can anyone use the exact same process & repeat it 10-12 times for 10-12 totally different types of unexplained phenomena & expect to get any real results? His 24 hrs filming results in looking like a quick VaCa weekend getaway. When you've got serious investigators out there that have spent years searching for the same unexplained subject, & are considered among the best in their field seeing what he does as nothing more than a mainstream money machine. ( & I am not saying it is, just playing devils advocate for those who have dedicated a lifetime to searching for real Solid scientific answers. )
To me that guy with the balled head is a debunker & a pompous Ass Clown who would never fit in.
(He goes on TV & asks for people that might know anything about any of the following lost treasures, you MIGHT be eligible for a $10,000 dollar reward. He is a total Dirtbag for doing that, he knows go & hell well, that what he was looking for is a Snitch that might know someone who may have a valuable relic of some sort that they bought legally, from another legal relic dealer or was a person smart enough to investigate a relic, and actually find it. That person owns it legally in every manner of the law. But, because Balledy knows the federal gov. Has recently go in and rewritten over any previous laws regarding unfounded treasures & a lot of legally purchased at that time & owned treasures so that the Federal gov. Can & Will come in & steal it from the owner. They will either use the threat of criminal prosecution, the IRS, to force the owner to turn the item over with no compensation to the objects owner who spent in some cases millions of dollars of their own money on researching, hunting, & recovering some items. (The Feds like to make them feel lucky there not going to prison) and this ass clown is willing to use those type of dirtbag methods to get some snitch, to run & tell "the MAN" he knows where, Said ,  relic is and who has it. The baldly knows that in 11 out of 10 cases when it comes to the gov. Paying up for a reward that was well earned, that not only do they ever pay anyone
The reward money their owed., the Feds will find a spouse, or child of the person owed the reward who's had even the smallest run in with the law, & use it to get the other person to lose interest in their reward real quick.
So, I myself could never get behind baldly.
The other rounder guy, he might work, he has a good voice, seemed like he liked the unexplained.

Meanwhile Heather Wade keeps hacking at the jungle, as she is doing the hard work of making the new trail. She's doing a good interview tonight with the stevensville UFO event.
I don't think she understands just how much apart of the shows success the bumper music that Art has kept for decades now has on the show, she's not getting just how much of a part of the formula that music is to the success of the show.
I'll give Give her time, she's just getting her feet wet. I wish she'd incorporate Amy in the show somehow, she's got a good voice, & has worked hard for the network to make it happen.
So I guess we will see if what Heather is doing is in permanent ink, or not. I am that Keith is on top of the shows ratings numbers & if a change is needed he'll be 2steps ahead of all of us. I hope.

I'm not sure bout the music Mr. King. I'm old, I'm guessing you've been around too and the ABBA etc. is a signature sound.

But C2C has copied it over in full. I wouldn't mind a few (scattered here and there) new sounds. I imagine if one wanted to stay "pure" to the Art Bell canon, then there are probably some gems in there we haven't heard so much.

Heather has some music in her background I hear. I'm willing to see where it might lead :)
