I have yet to see anyone doing open carry in Texas. Everybody I know with a CCL would rather carry concealed. I wish they would have passed constitutional open carry like so many other states have.

I don't think any of these people would have been eligible to purchase a firearm anyway.

Have you ever caught a bowfin/grinnel/dogfish in any of the lakes in Texas?  A 10 pounder hit a white spinner bait I was casting along a shoreline in Lake Sam Rayburn and I thought I had hooked the lake record bass at first. Freaky fish. Lots of teeth.

No weird. Though I admit some bad stuff. Releasing some over-grown Cichlids from an aquarium into a local area (statue of limitations here!) and one-time a few years back after over-estimating our Crawfish boil releasing a bunch of Coon-Ass raised bugs into my creek. I've caught talapia in some areas which are illegal, or something, non-native but adapted.

I used to fish with a guy that raised a crappie from a little one inch fry to about a pound in an aquarium. He made the mistake of throwing in a crawfish to see if it would eat it. Sure did. Choked to death on it.

I made a similar mistake tossing a small puffer fish in with my cichlids. Almost killed my favorite one until I ripped it out with a pair of needle nosed pliers. The cichlid didn't talk to me for about a week. The puffer fish was banished to the trash can.
