i am sure he was right that they will use any one..but probably not so much on the made man thing
The only successful "mafias" or org crime are racial, ethnic, family, clan, religious, or perv based. Something deep to hold together. When that link breaks is when they are exposed and then fail. It is amusing to see how with social media how it can.

QuoteCheck Out Tony's new book!

http://www.houdinipublishing.com/home/13-tony-motana-9781936759194.html

The book is mainly about the success Tony Montana had turning the Outfits bars, restaurants and other business into profitable business! He aims on this book not on the killings and other criminal acts they did but on the money making. Tony Montana has laid low all these years and was the mafia/ Chicago Outfits most protected hidden treasure.

Montana stresses he was not a mob hit man, but acknowledges his ties to organized crime had the law monitoring him.

“They put a tracer on the bottom of my car and followed me around,” he said. “The law was all over the place. But I wanted to be legitimate in making money. That’s the reason for the book, to show that the mob wasn’t all about pulling out baseball bats and killing people.”

Yes, because when people want to hear mob stories, how to run a successful restaurant is at the top of the list.

Christ, I'd rather talk to the guy who hosts Bar Rescue.

Nah, Henry Hill was entertaining and his bullshit lead to some of the greatest mob lore of all time. This guy is an old codger who desperately wants relevance and is willing to make up a bunch of bullshit to get it.

Don't even get me started on his claim of being the real Tony Montana...

And Tony Montana was a mythical character based on Al Capone from the original 1932 film Scarface and the Montana name came from Stone who said he named the character that after his favorite quarterback at the time, John Elway.  ::)

That bar rescue guy is my guilty pleasure. I hate him and the scum he tries to turn around. But, on some occasions, usually if hungover find myself watching it. The only "reality" show I ever watched more than once (except "Cops")

I moved away from there in 1972. Drugs weren't tolerated in Chicago from everyone I knew.

I had a membership there in the formative years, but I when I went back to log in, my account had been un-activated.  Is un-activated a wurd?
