Still waiting for someone to point me to convincing evidence it isn't some bodies closer to Earth than to the star.  The apparent period of occultation so close to an integral multiple of the sidereal year is very suspicious.  The research team didn't answer my e-mail.

It is starting to be marketed in stores and on amazon, but you can get it here and it works great for pets and also as a household spray.

Thanks Gravity. :)

So what does that have to do with MUFON?

Well hopefully Heather will get around to discussing exoplanets with Mark.

Didn't read Larry Niven's The Intergal Trees or The Smoke Ring, eh?

What bothers me about the whole thing is the apparent geometry of the day 800 dip in the Kepler light curve. That doesn't look natural, it looks like a huge triangle.

Because the random fat dude from Missouri disabled the FRIKKIN ignore feature

He just called the five families together and said, "Basta!"  ;) 8)

Artifact of digital integration under the curve?

That's EASY.  How can they give an honest assessment, if they don't listen to it?

Right. How can one check to see if someone is GBED unless one listens once in a while. Also, one can listen to the....ahhh...guest without concentrating on the...ahhh...distractions of the host.

They're lamenting the rise of CG, but what of the simultaneous rise of ubiquitous, hi-def cameras - shouldn't that kinda offset it?

=Schlyder=

what can you do???  LOL  don't be a Goober and believe they are all real.  99.999999999999999999999999% are fake.  problem solved.

Would a triangular ring be more stable than a circular ring?

Well since the thing is 1500 ly away and no one has a clue what it is, why don't you call in and ask if it could be made of marshmallow fluff?  Makes just as much sense.

Still waiting for Niven to break down and write another in that series that isn't in Known Space.

I sometomes wonder if he left it all in Unknown Space for the fertile imaginariums

I have to mix in a few serious questions with the ones or two I've basically called in as jokes, don't I?

Exactly.  Also, it might get discussed on the GabCast, so us bellgabbers need to listen whenever possible, so we can contribute in an informed way to the conversation in the chat.

Look the only conclusive evidence is anecdotal reports of orange floaties to P. Davenport.

The star is that far away.  Whatever's occulting it...who knows its distance?  All one can do is conjecture about its aspect size vs. the angle subtended by the star vs. the ratio of the distances.

Doesn't appear to be, no. It's there, it's just very strange.

Isn't the current hypothesis that it's a comet swarm?
