I may have to ask Mark about my theory that the Megastructure around Tabby's Star could be some kind of biological structure like vegetation or coral.

Still waiting for someone to point me to convincing evidence it isn't some bodies closer to Earth than to the star.  The apparent period of occultation so close to an integral multiple of the sidereal year is very suspicious.  The research team didn't answer my e-mail.

The star is that far away.  Whatever's occulting it...who knows its distance?  All one can do is conjecture about its aspect size vs. the angle subtended by the star vs. the ratio of the distances.
