I think what she's saying is she doesn't want see the show turn into a platform for truther spanks.

Sure, Juan...let's turn into a sportscast. That will be a barrel of monkeys!  ::)

You're a spank for not explaining your criticism  :P

I'm not offended by any of it, 21st. I just find it weak that the people who find conspiracy theories offensive never really say why. They usually just want to scold you for the attempt. The government and media are always telling us the truth? You really believe this?!

Conversely...for me, I don't like being scolded for what I know, and I don't scold anyone for an attempt of explaining a possibility. One could find conspiracy in a lot of things.  Like I said previously...it becomes tiresome.  I can't change what you or anybody truly believes.

Darn! An SP9 story cut off in the middle  :(

I'm more a science guy, Shay. I think the truth is more than a matter of belief.  ;)

Short answer: Most spank talk either involves the absence of info, speculation, or the taking of information out of context.

Scientist don't dismiss things with blustery emotionalism...and they're not afraid to look into things to try to figure out what's really going on.  ;)

No, of course not and I believe in a lot of the UFO conspiracy stuff that the government has covered up.  And I'm not sure why Building 7 collapsed during 9/11.  However, I would like to hear a conversation between a mother who lost her child at Sandy Hook and one of those conspiracy theorists who believe it was a fraud.  Yes, that angers me.

That comes with the territory. You should be fully prepared with a game plan to handle it on radio.

When hasn't this genre involved a good deal of speculation?!

Stop trying to reinvent it!

There's always sportstalk...that won't upset you so much  ;)

I'd like to see one of the fathers of the Sandy Hook victims or the Boston Marathon beat the snot out of Alex Jones in the Octagon.

And since Dana White is from Boston, I know he'd book it!
