The first half was horrible because it seemed like Heather was going to go full-on shill...but she employed a bit of Kung Fu midway through and salvaged it pretty well, I'd say. This episode was a bit of phoenix from the flames

They would need the money for that and they would need to find someone competent who wants to do that. Both of those things seem to be eluding them.

Well she said on air that she makes lots of money, so that money can go to someone who has experience and talent. Art is being stubborn and doesn't care if he runs the show into the ground. Sort of makes me think that he is losing his mind.

Art needed to call in. Tonight was just sad flailing. He needed to step up to the plate and make the save for her.

Yeah, she was thrust into a position in which she was way over her head. I've got no personal beef with her - she is just not a good successor to the legendary Art Bell.
I'll give her an A for effort, but it's time to let someone who knows what they're doing take the reigns. Sooner rather than later so that the show and the network altogether can be salvaged.

If Art wants to keep her at the helm, fine. But he needs to at least hire an experienced producer to book credible, interesting guests. The show has become a new age type program with topics that heather, being a witch, would enjoy. It's no longer a paranormal based show.
