I enjoyed them too, especially as a kid. I have an episode or 2 as MP4. It was low budget but well written. Many episodes were hybrids of the classic TZ, like merged stories. I don't remember the Slater one off the top of my head, but vividly remember one about the mom who could stop time, loaded with cold war messages, eventually the episode ends in nuclear exchange. It was based on the one where the bank teller was addicted to reading books combined with elements of another vintage episode. TZ is easily my favorite show of all time. And the reboot was so fun.

Tales From The Darkside was also really fun.

He played a country bumpkin who's grandfather refused to die. To me, it could fit right in with the classics of the original.

I have tons of worn out G.I. Joe stuff and Transformers too. My mom just kept it all, and I now have my basement bar decorated with all that stuff.

All my stuff was either lost during moves, stolen, or suffered water damage.  :'(   My toys suffered tragic lives.  ;D

;D No Ken, but I always wondered about the ambiguous anatomy of my sister's Ken doll. Now we have metrosexuals and hipsters. That's not a coincidence.

Don't know if you'll relate or not, GS, but when I had Joes they were big and had kung-fu grip!  8)

G.I. Joe or He-Man??

He-Man, heh... Orko was the shit but the rest of them were just a little on the fruity side.

G.I. Joe wins here.

Oh shit, that's a tough one. I'd have to begrudgingly say G. I. Joe, but He-Man was fucking awesome. I still have a Castle Grey Skull shell with none of the accessories.

Yep, I remember that one.  My next door neighbor had a bunch of MASK toys, but I was more of a Transformers/Voltron guy myself who avoided MASK and Go-Bots like the plague.  :p

I didn't know they had sets.  I remember the toys but weren't into them and didn't pay much attention.  However I did try to collect as many Matchbox cars to make my own sets (military, police, etc.)  Having the micro machine sets sounds cool though.  I must look them up.

Hot Wheels.  Matchbox were good too, though.  They were all about the same scale so I would play with them together.

Those things don't look like they would be very friendly to the maleness.
