Heather has been doing a great job. Art has faith in her and she's has done him proud. They each have their own style on interviewing guests. Here's the thing and there's truth to it:

If Art was back and doing his shows, the very same people would be complaining about him too.

Some people just want to complain.
I am one of the critics who have been very pessimistic about the future of the show and I dont think she is that bad.
I rather listen to Heather than George..
I am just being realistic about it. There is no way you can just hand of the show fulltime to a completely unknown person with little to no experience and expect it to succeed. You would have to slowly get people accustomed and get to know the host and give her time to develop as a radio host and to do that you really need Art to be there partime for quite some time.
This has been shown to be the case with nearly all affiliates dropping the show pretty much over night.

Sadly, yes.  I can't pay attention to the show--and it actually looked like a good one, from the description.  That said, I was planning to fall asleep to it, and I'm one of those suckers who's now hooked till the "announcement."  I'll pay for it tomorrow--so if it's not Art, I might let this go for a few weeks, hah.

Reagan was in office at the start of the Shuttle Program. The first mission I worked on was STS-4. NASAs first budget requests and program planning were for up to 50 launches per year. This was later scaled back to 25 launches per year because of budget limitations. That was the source of the "300 astronauts". Their budget requests were to hire enough astronauts to have 300. By the time of the Challenger accident, it was clear they could never achieve 25 mission per year due to how fragile the tiles were, among other maintenance that had to be done between flights. In 1985, there 9 launches. It was clear that they would have troubles even doing 10 per year.

Believe it or don't. I lived it.

That makes perfect sense - thanks I'd never heard that explanation before.

But there's no way that we don't have spaceflight capabilities.  The DoD would never allow the US to lose the advantage in space.  If they did, they'd all have to be completely incompetent.

Yes it rocks when mixed with psilocybin, too. That's a whole different process though.

I don't know why people prolong that taste by making tea.  Just eat the damn things on a piece of pizza and get it over with.

There are, in your mind, two realities:

One of anecdotal story: 'S' says 'P' is the case or real (e.g. Mckinnon or Reagan)

The other of our common experience.  Why should two people undermine (really one: Reagan talked about 'capacity', not reality).  I'd say this: accomplishing significant things is very very hard.
We are in the midst of an ever-present unveiling of flow that will let us access the quantum soup itself. Who are we? Where on the great story will we be aligned? We are at a crossroads of faith and selfishness.

I wouldn't doubt Stardust Ancestor's sublime Chaga mixology chops - he's got it down to an art form and it sounds frickin' delicious.  You should ask him for the recipe; damn thing made mouth water  :P

Oh yeah the Chaga Cape Codders? They friggin rock.

Steeped chaga, cranberry juice, Grey Goose vodka, rocks, splash of soda, lime wedge, shake, serve.

Damn, that is pretty good.  I'll bet the other stuff undoes the health benefits.  But we're all gonna die of something.

We were always most successful with peanut butter and psilocybin sandwiches on toasted flax seed bread.

Whatever covers the taste, in my opinion.  Though I've heard some people think it's mild.  Maybe they get weak flushes, though.

Naw, the soda used is Perrier, and the vodka is not bad for you as mixed, in moderation.

They're fine straight when in a bind. Chased with a cold beer.
