And that would be the smart way to do it if you actually want the show to be a success one day without him. But I would say 2 days a week would be minimum.
But I fear that it is now too late with most affiliates being gone. This is something he should have done right after he "hung up the mic".

True....but the perfect way to test the waters to see if any stations or affiliates will come back is to do a show regularly, just not scheduled regularly at first. Maybe two shows a week. That could work too.

Heck...I'd be happy with anything. Love Heather, but I just miss Art.

I think you're right. She does sound affected and phony -- in almost every utterance of any kind, start to finish.

I've asked those here who have spoken to her casually if her radio voice is similar to her normal speaking voice and the answer was basically yes. I can believe that. I think that "phony" quality is just there and it becomes amplified by virtue of her efforts towards actng in this announcer role.

In fact, she has the opposite of a natural delivery which makes her not a natural for this kind of personality focused radio. This, of course, says nothing about her actual personality off the air.
