My NDE is a deeply personal experience.  Any other paranormal experience I could have told on the spot, but not that one.  In fact, that is why I booked Dr. Taylor for last Tuesday night, to talk to him about NDE's.  I made a promise to gather my thoughts on it and tell it; I will and soon.

The photo.  I am soul searching on that.  There are good reasons why I don't want a photo of me published.

Trust me people, its not that she is not good looking, its because SOME people believe in privacy, while you people are tweeting every time you farted and still complain the government is spying on you, WTF is wrong with you idiots?
Frankly givin the situation Art was in the LAST thing i would do is give out my identity.
Its a voice on a broadcast, why do you need to know her personal information unless you are indeed a stalker?
If you dont care for the voice or the format you have MANY other choices, the intellect of people that post things like i need to see a face are so lonely and like to post crap anonymously on the net.
Say it to my face, I ALWAYS post what i would say face to face with anybody.
Perhaps you people want Heather to be stalked..you people are sick.

Oh, you poor slobbering old sod! The more you say the dumber you sound. Nobody says you have to do anything you don't want to do, but when you voluntarily put yourself in certain situations then you expect certain obligations to go along with them. If you really hate being punched, best not be a boxer; if you don't like getting your face wet, then a lifeguard is probably not the career for you. If you are allergic to publicity (and fair enough, nobody says she has to tell anybody anything about herself) then don't put yourself out there in a public forum where that kind of stuff is par for the course.

Frankly, making a big  issue of it leads to suspicion, and really some people need to get over themselves. I couldn't care less, but I know plenty of people like to put a face to the voice. If it was such a big deal (and it would have occurred to a child that this would happen) then she should not have taken on the gig. Plenty of actors are painfully shy, yet they have to force themselves through the publicity mill because of contractual obligations. We all have to do things we don't want to do sometimes, but when those things are self-imposed it gets a bit silly to grouse about them.

Why would Art bail on the show that was keeping the network AFLOAT almost on its own? After all, Keith did the Network to have a place FOR Art (and this got Art BACK on AM radio) - and RCH too! Those 2 shows made it a winner. You know, I have to wonder if Keith and Art will even be talking to each other when all is said and done.

Art had 50 terrestrial radio affiliates. For a podcast only 5 months in that's incredible. At started C2c in the 80s and he didn't get 200 affiliates till 1995. Getting 50 in less than a year is insanely successful.

The only way I see anyone downloading an archive of any of those shows is to hear themselves call in and heap a friends empty praise on Heather. Every one of those calls did her, the show, and listeners a complete disservice.

Yes, we're close to one another in the archive it seems - I love that "It's beautiful" line. The Dark Matter show with Sparks was also excellent.

You can find archives all over the internet and it just depends how hard you look! Keep digging and combing thru the old, somewhat buried threads. There are some links to be found!

Seriously, how do you know Heather's mind? Do you actually know the young woman?

I think she should post her high school graduation picture to satisfy people who need a face. Since most people change dramatically from their high school picture, there should be no harm in it. But I am merely jesting. She really has no need to show us her face. None whatsoever. If an unknown young man replaced Art, would the same people demand his photo? I bet not. I say this without rancor. Why have you taken upon yourself the role of forum cop? People can post whatever they like here, including a cathartic release of anger at art and displeasure with Heather. While I have no such need, forums are generally where such comments are common. I honestly do not see how you decided you were the unelected administrator of the board, telling people to get lost if they don't enthusiastically like the show, the modern equivalent of LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT.  Can you imagine how dull this forum would be if the only posts allowed were oozing with sugar for Heather and Art?
