About a dozen years ago Wakenhut bought a number of small leased employee companies and small HR firms. As a result, Wakenhut was the official employer of thousands of people who actually worked for small companies. The small company paid Wakenhut a monthly fee and Wakenhut paid salaries, insurance, taxes, etc. These companies usually had nothing at all to do with security. Bryan could have changed tires, been a short order cook, or been a small company executive and rightly claim Wakenhut as his company.

The thing is, the more I read on the fringe group the more I am reminded how tough it is out there for so many people. I don't care what he does, he's working and good for him! If I get around to posting some of Friday's discussion from that group after editing out dozens and dozens of stupid gifs, you'll see some of their members are struggling so much they worry about the cost of buying cookies (not joking). That list seems to be an important part of what keeps them going, and they have some sense of community together.

That they seem remarkably low-level in their thinking and their conversations are mostly inane and often mean-spirited towards anyone who doesn't overtly worship HW is another thing entirely. But still, life is not easy for many of us, and sometimes I need to remind myself how fortunate I am that I still have steady work. I worked very very hard to get to that place, yes (and still do), but still, I feel blessed.

He talks about, among other things, mediums who can physically manifest phenomena, and whose feats have been studied and (he says) documented. I think I wanted to buy his book The Gold Leaf Lady) but it was quite expensive if I recall and I decided not to for the moment. Anyway, looking forward to the show! Good topic!
