Yes, I have that shitty record on Itunes.

Everyone says "yer nuts" or some crank when I ranted about this stuff, now accepted cause its U2? What says they can't do other stuff? Change 'ebooks'? Post censor your emails, txts, browsing? Or worse....for decades talk about post-modernism no 'truth' but perspective, view, 'culture,' etc but was in Philosophy depts n think tanks (some commie conected,) weaponized now.And why such 'social change' and divisive now.

I'm off to the holodeck...

That's usually the most popular tech people want, but I just want the food - and the Romulan whisky.

My favorite on that album is "Original of the Species." And "Crumbs From Your Table."

I like the whole album. Not "Joshua Tree", but still good

Does she have a connection to the Clinton's?

Only that Chelsea was given one of her bags. Sad suicide, had a 13-year old daughter, left her a note that she (the daughter) is not to blame. Upsetting.

How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb was good. At least, "Vertigo"

I remember that one. That was a pretty decent song.  They really lost me with No Line On The Horizon.

The Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary Tour was incredible last summer but now they've retired those songs for this year's tour. I don't know if it'll be the same not hearing at least "Where the Streets Have No Name" at a U2 show.

The answer for the three best are Joshua Tree, War, and Unforgettable Fire.  With Achtung Baby as honorable mention.  It is known.

Eh, I'm over it here. No culture. Avisra. La Costa are boring communities, I'm near the village and its minor league compared to Encinitas, Oceanside, etc...

Yeah but it's close enough to Encinitas you can easily get to the good vibe

Well.. I don't think it was accepted .. there was quite a bit of blowback about it.. much of what you just argued.

Hmm...I suppose if we ever achieve that probably no one would masturbate anymore, they'd just program a sex fantasy. Do you think holodecking would come to be considered masturbation then? Also, who's responsible for cleaning the holodeck?  :o

A bit sick that she said "Ask Daddy" in the note though. It's going to further mess with the poor daughters mind.

For me it's Achtung Baby, Joshua Tree, Zooropa and then All That You Can't Leave Behind. I'm also one of the only people that really liked Pop.

No Line on the Horizon was not great. The only song that ever pops into my head is the title track.

comaphobe

The look on Captain Kirk's face when he sips the beer in the 1986 pizza restaurant while pre-negotiating whale custody.

I liked Pride but the rest of Unforgettable Fire left me flat.  I felt it was a bit too mellow compared to War which was their previous album.  I wanted the same production/music style that was on War.

With my health issues, I have to consider a drop-dead point...  I know my kids will intellectually understand... Emotionally, another story.
